Great location opposite the port as we needed to travel the next morning to island. Can tell it had been renovated and most furnishings were new. Staff were great, attended to all my questions pre arrival and during our stay and at breakfast

Train station is three kilometres from the town centre.
Train station is three kilometres from the town centre. There are infrequent buses from the station or taxis. I shared a taxi with three others to the port which is in the town centre and it cost 20 euros ( 5 each ). I walked to the station when I left and it took an hour from the town centre. Impressive castle and fort but I did not visit the inside of either, but great views of the city from the castle hill. I enjoyed a walk out to the lighthouse on the cape, but there are buses if you don't want to walk.great views of the Aeolian islands .

Milazzo is an underrated city.
Milazzo is an underrated city. It offers the benefits of crystal clear beaches to swim at as well as fantasic authentic Sicilian cuisine. We much preferred the beaches in Milazzo than in Taormina where they are hard to access, mostly tourist traps and packed with overpriced beach clubs. Milazzo has some great historic value with plenty to see including its own castle, one of the most beautiful churches up on a mountain cliff (Tindari) and some great local, authentic Sicilian cuisine that isn't overpriced or a copy/paste tourist trap like some of the other more commercialized cities. I have been there twice in the last 15 years and every time I've been I've always regretted not staying there longer. Next time we travel to Italy we will be basing ourselves here and exploring more of Sicily and southern Italy.

Whilst I didn't see much of it, I wouldn't stay here. Just travel through on way to Aeolian islands. Surprisingly, no taxi's or uber's at train station when I arrived from Palermo so I had to hitch-hike (lol)!

It's not Taormina which is obviously the jewel in the crown of Sicily but it's a nice town to wander around and the restaurants are good and plentiful.
We stayed there specifically to be close to the Aolian Boat tours (which I don't recommend).

What I liked most were the hospitality and generosity of the father/daughter hosts. They were supremo! Outstanding! Wunderbar!
We also enjoyed the Norman castle which was very close.
And there was a wonderful 🐢 who loved to be massaged by the proprietor.., and a handsome Husky dog! All Bueno!

This hotel if a gem in the centre of Milazzo, close to all shops, restaurants, bars, ferry to the Eolian islands.
It's in an antique building but the rooms have been modernized to high standards.
A special thank you to Antonio at reception who was exceptional and helped us arrange car park, find the best restaurants.
I'd recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Milazzo.
This is a very comfortable, clean, very friendly b&b in the centre of Milazzo. From this location you can walk everywhere, go to the beach, explore the town, walk to the hydrofoils to go to the Eolian Islands. The management is very friendly, polite, professional. I really enjoyed my stay.
Very nice hotel in the center of Milazzo. The rooms are large and clean. We stayed for one night because of the morning ferry to Stromboli, but if we could we would have stayed a week. The owner was very helpful and polite. We recommend.
hotel walking distance from the port and the promenade with all its restaurants and bars but in a residential quiet area. super handy kind staff. very well organised and maintained. AC super silent and efficient even at max power.
