Breakfast is in s cafe on the next block. One coffee and one croissant. When it says breakfast included I expected the usual Italian buffet with cheese meat toast jam etc.
The location is excellent. Half s block to the beach.

If you want to stay in a safe place, at two steps of the sea, with a lot of restaurants and bars arounds, this is the right one! You have a clean room, a lot of options for breakfast (we're talking about an Italian breakfast, with pastry, sweets and coffee/tea). Attention to details: cables to charge your phone (3 options on each side of the bed), umbrellas - we need it in the evening. It was warm over the night. And the host is really nice.
Set in the centre of Pescara, close to the seafront promenade, Hotel Esplanade offers a rooftop restaurant and air conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It also features a terrace and a bar.

The room was very nicely decorated, brand new and had a good atmosphere. The bed slept very well. It is situated near the new center as well as the old center. Free parking at only 5 minutes away. You’ll receive vouchers for breakfast in a lovely cafeteria just opposite the B&B. Davide and Barbara are very kind people and respond very quickly to every question. Highly recommended.

Loved everything about it. Perfect location on the center square. A block from the beach. Air conditioning worked great. Solid windows kept the noise from people out but not the annoying dog that lives on the balcony next door

I had intended to stay in Pescara simply as a base city while I looked at property in smaller towns within Abruzzo region. Pescara is a port city and usually I find those cities ok but would not think of living there but Pescara is a gem. The pedestrian only zones were my favorite with many many restaurants, bars and cafes. It is a very walkable city and people for the most part are quite friendly.

I was initially very skeptical about Pescara, it' lacks the historical appeal that we all love about Italy, but it grew on me, it's a very walkable city, lost of wide pedestrian street, very nice beach promenade area, where you can bike, run, walk and have a delicious meal in one of the many Pescara' restaurants.

We walked from Hotel Maja to Corso Vitorio Emanuele II (less than a mile, and a nice walk) which is a lovely pedestrianised area, full of delis and restaurants and there's also an indoor food market. We also walked to the old town which was pretty much shut up on a Tuesday morning in February - however, it was full of bars and clubs and I'm sure it must be a really vibrant place in the summer. We ate in a cafe/restaurant called Posa in Corso Vitorio Emanuele II - lovely staff and atmosphere and the best Tiramisu ever!
Pescara beach is sandy and beautiful and has been designed with large rocky breaks to be safe for swimming and for youngsters to play in. I'm sure this is a hugely popular beach in the summer. In February it was just wonderfully quiet but enticing enough for us to take our shoes and socks off and to go for a bracing little paddle! We really enjoyed our stay in Pescara - I thoroughly recommend it.
Oh, and Pescara is such an easy city to fly into from the UK - a tiny airport with free parking on the road outside for pick-ups.

Pescara isn't the prettiest of cities but had everything we needed for a short trip as we were visiting the Sangro River War Graves Cemetery. It was also the end of the season so some places had closed. Also, the weather wasn't brilliant which probably didn't show the city in its best light.

City of Pescara is very walkable and felt very safe even at night. Spent all of visit north of river so cant comment about area to south. Transport to and from airport not very good. Its a good base to visit area either up into mountains or headed south along coast. Did'nt go north on the train but Ancona is only an hour away on Freccia Rossa. October weather very good, in fact too hot on some days. City has good shops and resaurants. Quite a lot of the centre is pedestrianised. They were still working on some of Corso Umberto 1, so not quite complete. Ate mainly at 2 places on Viale Regina Elena, Ristorante Birreria del Corso and Ceci Piccola Cucina, both very good. Perhaps will try the Sushi places I noticed nearby, next time. The burgers, if wanting a change from italian, at Frate Tac in Via Roma were very good. They also had a white Teramisu which was popular. Phone needed at this place, to download menu. Did'nt try the numerous restaurants on the beachfront, again, maybe next time. Not sure what to avoid in Pescara, the high season could be a bit too hot and very crowded although there is a jazz festival in later part of July each year. Might have to brave the heat.

Pescara is a very beautiful and quiet town.
Pescara is a very beautiful and quiet town. Beautiful beach, I really liked the sand, there were no shells on the beach. Climb the bridge where you will have a wonderful view of the entire city and the entire beach
Sufficient restaurants where you can eat, and if you love seafood, it is clearly the city you must visit.
I really recommend the city and would visit it again to go to the beach again.
You must not miss the gelato ( pistachio and coffee OMG) and try the seafood burger, it has a very interesting taste
( I ate a seafood burger at the Pesciolillo restaurant ).
I ate a good pistachio cheesecake at Piadapiave and unfortunately I tried pasta at Toccaferro but I didn't liked. I hoped to be homemade pasta but it wasn't

Breakfast was very good, with italian specialities and the cookies were great :D
Also, across the street, Salus Restaurant and and other restaurants with traditional cuisine are there to satisfy tourists.
Also the hotel is near the city center, I walked every day to the city on the lovely quiet streets.
Also the hotel offered discounted price to the sunbeds on the beach, which in Pescara is quite something, because the prices are up a level on the beach.
The location close to the beach, lots of great places to eat nearby, the amazing hospitality of the host, who takes his time and prepares a really nice breakfast catered to individual preferences. He had lots of tips for Pescara and other places in Italy and knows how to make his guests feel special. The apartment is very clean and we would definitely stay there again. GRAZIE :)
Absolutely amazing! The staff are so kind! It’s about a 25 minute walk from the station and centre! The room has snacks and drinks included, it’s very clean and spacious, the bathroom is also good 😊 Check in is super simple which is great, if you’re ever in Pescara I would definitely book this place! Very reasonable price as well! I really enjoyed my stay here! :)
Great location in central Pescara, in friendly neighbourhood
Very clean and comfortable, perfect size for a couple
Liked having different living areas, better than a hotel room
Beach club service was an added bonus
After reading previous reviews about lack of hot water, we found there was no issue at all and we had plenty for our needs
The free hotel parking which is secure and close to the hotel was an added bonus! The hotel is perfectly located for the centre of Pescara to explore the town and the beach.
Breakfast was also good - the room was spacious enough for a nights stop and comfortable.
