The hotel went out of their way to accommodate our two children with small slippers and little gifts, that we were not at all expecting. It made them feel welcome and was a lovely gesture. The bathroom was also equipped to handle the needs of smaller users, which was great! The breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of variety. The location was very comfortable, within walking distance of all the most important things to see in Ravenna. Finding a parking spot in the vicinity was very easy and inexpensive.

FAQs about hotels in Ravenna

A Walker's Paradise Filled with Charming Surprises

Once a capital of the Western Roman Empire, Ravenna is a walker’s paradise and is home to several historical landmarks, magnificent mosaics, great fashion outlets, and charming streets lined with cafés, restaurants and bars.

Piazza del Popolo is considered the heart of Ravenna and was historically the civil and administrative centre of the city. It features the 15th-century Palazzetto Veneziano, the 17th-century Palazzo Comunale, and the 18th-century clock tower.

The most popular landmarks in the city are San Vitale, Mausoleo di Galla Placida, Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo and Dante Alighieri’s Tomb, whilst the Cervia Thermal Baths and Mirabilandia theme park are great options for a day trip.

After a day of discovery and sightseeing, be sure to head towards the coast for a revitalising swim or relaxing sun bathe at one of the several beaches scattered along the coastline of the Adriatic Sea.

Ravenna Station offers direct routes to Bologna and Rimini. Booking.com offers a range of accommodation options in Ravenna, Cervia, Milano Marittima and throughout the Emilia-Romagna Region.

Ravenna, often overlooked in favor of other Italian destinations, offers a delightful experience that should not be missed. My recent visit was a pleasant surprise, and I highly recommend exploring its numerous sights, restaurants, and activities. One of the best ways to immerse yourself in the city is by walking through its UNESCO-listed sites. This allows you to fully appreciate the architectural beauty and historical significance of Ravenna.

One of the most beautiful Italian cities I’ve visited, a place easily explored on foot, featuring extraordinary buildings at every street corner, famous mosaics, charming squares, and delicious food (we recommend Ca de Vin for 5-star food and atmosphere). Must-sees: Basilica of San Vitale Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo Dante's Tomb Piazza del Popolo Mercato Coperto If you are traveling with the little ones, a day at Mirabilandia and a day at the beach in Marina di Ravenna will likely become your fondest memories.

My stay at Casa Masoli was an amazing experience.

My stay at Casa Masoli was an amazing experience. It has an ordinary facade, but once inside, it turns out to be an elegant villa that belongs to old nobility with classical furnishings and lovely chandeliers. It is immaculate and lovingly maintained. Our room was spacious with stone floors and the bathroom was beautifully renovated. The next best thing is its location. It is literally in the heart of ancient Ravenna within a few blocks from top restaurants and the pedestrian street full of elegant stores. All the Byzantine sights are about 10-15 min walking distance. Breakfast was excellent, with baked goods, charcuterie and a variety of fresh fruits, juice and yogurt. Eggs were made to order. It is definitely one of the most romantic places that I have stayed in.

Ravenna is an old cultural city with rich history.

Ravenna is an old cultural city with rich history. If you love fine dinning, Ravenna is for you. It is littered with restaurants to taste the rich food history of Bologna region. The alleys are also with small but valuable stores to buy good Italian wears and jewellery.. Then the Ravenna Marina and the old wall and museum is a right place to see Ravenna better. I had a good 2wks stay in Ravenna. I want to come back.

The vibe of the city is what impressed me the most.

The vibe of the city is what impressed me the most. In general, everyone was very friendly and welcoming, from the B&B to the tourist information office and the bike rental shop. I highly recommend taking a tour around the city to discover some of its many historical buildings. For those who also enjoy outdoor activities, I recommend renting a bike and cycling towards the coast to visit the different beaches.

Our group of 6 just completed a 10 whirlwind tour of Venice, Florence, Pompeii, Sorrento, Isle of Capri, and Rome. Our two day stay in Ravenna was perfect to decompress from the demanding schedule to relax a bit, get some laundry done and check our the small town atmosphere. In addition, there were beautiful sites close to the house. There was easy access to the port to begin our cruise. Very good location for some calmness, good food, comfortable, relaxing house, and UNESCO sights.

We had a wonderful time at Sei Sequoie and would definitely recommend or stay there again, if i was ever again in the area. the hotel has been recently (2025) refurbished with an incredible attention to detail. as a designer, i can appreciate the effort that has gone into making this hotel as perfect as it is, and they have achieved it, in bundles. it is definitely one of the nicest boutique hotels i have stayed at, and the restaurant is also very impressive with the best steak in the region - 10/10

We stayed one night in Casa Masoli with my husband and this place was amazing! Romantic, clean, decorated with original paintings and furniture, it gives you a feel of what life used to be like in these beatiful old time mansions you see in Italy. The breakfast is outstanding. There is a variety of quality local products to choose from and the staff are professional and warm, attentive to every client's needs. The location is superb, right in the heart of town and close to monuments of the city.

I liked this place the most of the apartments/hotels during my trip to Italy. The owner is so sweet and made us breakfast in the morning. She also speaks English. The whole facility is very cozy, there is a shared kitchen you can use, the bathroom is spacious and the rooms were pleasant as well! I would love to stay there longer.
