From the video showing the route to take the lifts up to the hotel, to breakfast and our room, it was lovely. The veranda overlooking the village was a bonus since we didn't have a balcony. We were certainly fit at the end of our stay walking up and down the hills, but we did use the lifts if we felt we needed to. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed at a lovely hotel Zorza in Riomaggiore, located in a truly prime spot – right in the best part of the village. The room was comfortable, clean, and fully equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful location on a hill with a wide sea view. Very good breakfast, which you can enjoy while overlooking the sea. Friendly staff who helped us settle in, even though we arrived late.

Friendly, local staff with great recommendations for food as well as tips for the Cinque Terre trails, passes and nearby villages. For international travelers, they also speak English. I would recommend calling directly if you have any questions about the property or the area.

This was my second time staying at Locanda Il Carugio. This place is absolutely gorgeous! The owner family is so welcoming, friendly and super helpful with what to see and where to go in Cinque Terre. The breakfast is delicious, we ate on a gorgeous deck overlooking the sea. We were able to park directly in front of our room which is such a luxury in Cinque Terre. Even though I like to stay at different villages and or hotels when I travel, I would definitely stay here again (for a third time) when visiting the area. Why mess with perfection?

The location and the view.very ty

A beautiful, quiet and intimate place facing a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Poets, and on clear days even the snow-capped Alps. Perfect for relaxing or for day trips in the area. If you wish to visit the villages of the Cinque Terre, you can drive 10 minutes and park near the La Spezia train station, from where trains depart every few minutes — just 7 minutes to the first village. The location is also ideal for exploring the villages and towns around the Gulf of Poets.

Perfect location, very friendly staff. Very clean and well equipped room, we had a top floor balcony over the main street. It was nice to sit there and watch tourists buzzing by. I would definitely recommend this as a basis to explore 5 Terre. Good breakfast, too.

Our room was spacious with modern facilities that made our stay comfy and pleasant. We even had a small garden for ourselves with a lovely lemon tree, table and chairs and enjoy the view over the village. I truly embrace the way the hotel is designed with the blend of nature into the stay of the guests, we had breakfast with the view to the garden and could go out and walk under the trees. Breakfast was generous but I wish the bread and croissant could be warmed up for guests during freezing days. The owner was kind and very helpful. Love chatting with him to understand more about the village, weather, how people there works and lives... Location was great, just a short distance from the station and restaurants. However, the way up is steep and can be a challenge for those with heavy suitcases - better leave yours in public lockets.

Everything! Amare il Mare is absolutely perfect in every single way imaginable. We only booked one night, which was a shame; we really should have booked for longer! The view, the room, the amenities, the hosts... everything exceeded our expectations. What a beauty of a spot!

The staff were always helpful and very accommodating! The dining room was wonderful to use for a light meal with wine before bedtime. One block to the train station!

T It is just outside the train station but not noise at all. The room is good and clean and the staff are really helpful and nice, they try all the time to make you feel at home. The breakfast is homemade and really tasty. I recomended the place.
