fantastic location, beautiful beach and lovely restaurant patio
This was a last-minute decision, and we loved it. I wish we had longer to explore. It's a great place to rest and unwind. It was easy to get around by walking; however, as it was not peak time, it was impossible to get a taxi. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from, and all of them are delicious.

Santa Marinella is a very quiet town, with very few food options at the time I visited, second week of April. I feel that the beach and bay area could be renovated to be more welcoming. The best restaurant to eat was Punicum, their food was 10/10. It wasn't well advertised, I stumbled upon it whilst out walking one day.

The ocean is steps away.
The ocean is steps away. We were there off season so many things were closed. Come a little later in April.
Restaurants around our BB opened after 7 , se we ventured a little further and found options open prior to 7.

This was a pleasant place to spend a few days before taking a cruise from Civitiveccia which is just one rail stop away. Winter temperatures were excellent for walking around the resort and visiting adjacent towns by rail.
Although winter, the resort still has the main facilities available.

We rented a car planning on driving around the western parts of Italy. The location is perfect for visiting Rome like we did multiple times and is fairly close to Naples, Pisa, Florence and other bigger cities. The host was very kind and even left us a bottle of prosecco to celebrate the New Year as we landed on the night of the switch of the year. There was plenty of coffee to get us up and going. The windows have solid roller blinds that won't let any sunlight into the house if so desired
It was a very pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable, the furnishings beautiful. The beach and the train station are close by, which was a factor in our choice. Danila was very nice and helpful. We were faced with a late night rail strike on check-out day and she helped us find alternatives to get back to Rome.
Such a warm welcome from the very glamorous and friendly receptionist. We got there earlier than 3pm but she sorted for us to be checked in. We loved the breakfast overlooking the sea and our balcony, and the lovely and helpful lifeguard . The hotel is right in the beach.
Massimiliano puts a lot of effort into making the place welcoming. It's a great place to stay, the bedrooms are very comfortable and he makes a breakfast that beats all others we've had in Italy.
