Great location, near old city centar.
Fine breakfast, but breakfast room is too small. Also, more choices for breakfast would be great.
Room is spacious and very clean.
Recepcionist were very polite and informative.
Would come back, for sure.

The best part of the hotel is the location. You can easily walk to the Sirmione island in the middle of Lake Garda. And you have free parking at the hotel. (The parking lots near the hotel charge around €20 per day, and they're usually full. During our stay, traffic police prevented people from driving close to the island because all the parking spots are full. You have to arrive either before 9:30 AM or find parking 3+ kilometers away.) But you get to skip all that nonsense because you have a hotel reservation!! (Although, you still have to fight all the traffic to get to the hotel.)
In addition, the breakfast is very good. They provide a variety of breads, pastries, yogurts, cereals, juices, sliced meats, eggs, and bacon - standard Italian breakfast. The dining room has a great view of the lake where we saw swans, ducks, and the occasional fish jump. The hotel has a swimming pool and plenty of lounge chairs. The room is okay. Size is standard for the area. WiFi is decent, but can be slow in the rooms. Shower is hot with good water pressure. Bed is comfortable.

On a narrow peninsula protruding into Lake Garda, Sirmione is a wonderful town famed for its multi-turreted castle, Roman remains and hot springs.
The 13th-century lakeside castle makes quite an impressive sight as you cross its drawbridge to enter the old town beyond. From its walls there are lovely views of red-roofed buildings towards the trees hiding the ruins of a huge villa that belonged to 1st-century BC Roman poet Catullus. Part of the complex included baths featuring the thermal waters, and the town still has a spa today on the opposite side of the promontory.
Nearby is the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore with its 15th-century frescoes, and the surrounding narrow, cobbled streets are home to stone buildings and several Sirmione hotels on Lake Garda. The majority of hotels are mid-range, but there are still a few 4 and 5-star hotels in Sirmione to choose from.
Booking.com also has lots of accommodations by the lake in the newer part of town, and its Lugana Vecchia area has a UNESCO World Heritage-listed prehistoric site.
To the west of Sirmione is the lakefront town of Desenzano del Garda, while to the east is Peschiera del Garda, close to the Gardaland and Canevaworld theme parks. The nearest airport is Verona Catullo Airport to the southeast.
Beautiful town built into castle walls. Shops, walks, stony beaches and stunning vistas. Many restaurants to choose from - our favourite was il vicolo - this is not just a burger place (although the burgers are lively) - the steak was very tasty as was the home made ice cream. The sunset on the west side of the peninsula is stunning.

Sirmione is such a beautiful place to stay on the lake.
Sirmione is such a beautiful place to stay on the lake. Extremely picturesque and at the time we stayed it was generally quiet in April until the Easter weekend when you could hardly move.
It was easy to travel, we got a 3 x day lower lake pass for the ferry so managed to visit 7 x places on the various stops around the lake during that time.
We also got the bus to Verona which was worth a visit. We got a separate day ticket to go to Malcesine on the ferry, a long ferry journey but worth it.
Weather was very mixed when we were there. Rained nearly every day but as long as you go prepared with a few layers, a waterproof and comfy shoes you will be fine. We walked almost 70 miles in one week to ensure we explored as much as we could in the week and we achieved it.
There a several restaurants everywhere so much choice for every taste and budget.
We had an afternoon at the thermal gardens Terme Sirmione including a 50min massage and a free glass of local wine and 3 x hours access to the thermal pools etc could definitely recommend booking this was lovely, but do take your own flip flops which you have to wear to get in. We didn’t take any and it cost us € 40 to buy some there 😞

Sirmione is a ridiculously pretty town on a peninsula jutting out into Lake Garda. I’m sure it is packed with visitors in summer but was very peaceful on our November visit. Some shops and restaurants were closed for the winter but there was enough open to spend a very pleasant couple of days. The castle offers great views and the Roman ruins were fascinating. A beautiful place.

I spent 3 nights at Sirmione as a base to explore Verona and Lake Garda (perfect for both). I spent half a day in Sirmione itself which was OK for ff season. I had time for a walk around, a boat trip around the peninsular and an evening visit to the thermal spa (aquaria) however a full day would have been ideal.

The staff were excellent during our stay from the receptionist upon arrival, cleaner who was friendly and the waiter staff in particular Gaia. The room was a nice size for our little family, clean and the TV had sky channels in English which was ideal for the little ones. The hotel is located a 2 min walk from the bus into Sirmione which is the quickest way to get to the old town. The terrace serves some lovely food and the pool area is clean and great for kids and adults alike with plenty of sunbeds.
Excellent location of the hotel. There is a bus stop 100 m away and a bus runs every 20 minutes and takes you to the Castle Scaligero in Sirmione, where you can also take a boat ride around the the city or you can visit a town or perhaps go to the thermal baths, of which the locals say the Terme di Sirmione is the best but you must make a booking a day before. https://www.termedisirmione.com/en . I definitely recommend visiting Sirmione, but not in the main summer season due to mass tourism.
We originally booked to have access to jacuzzi and paid extra compared to other hotels for that but were told it was cold so we were very disappointed.
We were staying in limone del garda and travelled to Sirmione for one night. We were looking forward to Jacuzzi access after a rainy day in limone but after not being able to we could have easily booked cheaper hotel closer to the town just as nice looking. On a plus the pizza with Buratta is the best i’ve had here in lake garda.
Nice place , good location, free Parking, the owner are such a nice man he help us a lot with instructions for sirmione and Garda, really a nice person that do everything to be sure the staying in the hotel it's the Best.
