The hotel is located in a quiet place within a few minutes' walk to a bus stop (connexions to Rome or Adrian's Villa) and 10-15 minutes walk to major tourist attractions in Tivoli (Villa d'Este etc). The room and bathroom are large and nicely decorated, the bed is very confortable. We heard no no traffic noise (noisy neighbours in the corridor could be a problem as anywhere). The owner and the personnel are nice and efficient, e.g. they provided additional dishes for breakfast, let us store luggage on the day of departure, gave useful adivice. I do not think there's a better hotel nearby in this price range.
Featuring an indoor swimming pool, Residenze Gregoriane offers luxury suites decorated in a classic style. Located along the river, these suites provide a central but quiet location in Tivoli.

Fantastic spot!! Really great location. Tivoli isn't too big, but this apartment is both right in town but quiet, too. The roof terrace was SO pretty!
Great access to town and countryside. Tivoli has lots of character and amazing views, plenty of places to eat and shop, and to immerse yourself in true Italian culture.
I'd recommend the Villa d'Este and Villa Adriana (Hadrian's Villa), both of which can be done in one day, although allow more time for the latter, and bring a packed lunch as there are no catering facilities.

Tivoli is a great town outside of Rome. If you are looking for old character, charm, and beautiful gardens, you have found your spot. Food was great at all locations. I would recommend spending a lot of time Villa di Este.

The park of Villa Gregoriana has stunning views of the waterfalls and is a must natural attraction when visiting Tivoli.
Villa D'Este is a magnificent example of the Italia Villas of the Renaissance, with its beautiful gardens and many fountains.
These two locations and the overall historical city area are easily reachable all within walking distance. The historic downtown also offer many eating alternatives.
Villa Adriana is one of the most majestic archeological sites of the Roman Empire, truly impressive in its scale and content.
Plan for a three nights stay in order to have two full days to visit the city.

Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome.
Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome. Fly into Ciampino. Public transport and parking is good. Prepare to walk up hill on occasions in town. Villa d'este well worth a visit BUT beware of payment on entry. (See Tip) Driving can be either exciting or challenging. Make sure if you go on the toll roads you understand how they work and how to pay. Local food is really reasonably priced if you choose well. "Botega del Grano" is an excellent choice in Tivoli.

Tivoli is a great location especially if you have previously visited Rome. It is much cheaper than Rome for food and drink and the quality of food is very good. For example we visited a restaurant in Rome for lunch - a restaurant we had previously visited - cost for lunchtime pasta for four with four beers and two Aperol Spritz 107 Euro's. Night time meal in Tivoli at a restaurant specializing in food from Tuscany for starters, meat main courses, six beers and 4 Aperol Spritz cost 117 Euro's.
Tivoli offers easy access to Rome via Train. To be honest having visited Rome before was disappointed with how expensive it has become, entry to alot of the venue's had massively increased in price and hour long queues. Also found the city very dirty.

If you like quaint rustic italy, this is for you, gorgeous scenery, lots to do but do homework first as if you do not have a car, the public transport needed a recky first. Not all cafes open on a Monday, but when they are the food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Taverna de Dracula is a must fir romanian cuisine
Clean well-appointed room in a tasteful rustic Italian style. Centrally located in Tivoli, just a 4-5 min walk to Villa d’Este and Villa Gregoriana. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom updated, quiet AC, nice linens and toiletries provided, mini fridge with water. Nice breakfast in a charming upstairs dining room with views of Tivoli. Simone was awesome - called me a taxi when I arrived at the station, provided us wonderful restaurant recommendations and allowed us to store luggage past check out.
We (two couples) had one small room with a beautiful view and one larger room without a view. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a nice breakfast in a pretty room with a view. Andreas made us feel welcome and was happy to make recommendations. It was a hike to the restaurants but we preferred to leave our car parked at the property as parking in Tivoli is difficult. The beautifully restored 1800's house and the panoramic view made us happy with our choice of accommodation.
The owner picked us up at the train station which was supper nice. We arrived late and there are no taxis in Tivoli so it is important if you are not traveling by car to have a pre arranged taxi. It is walkable to the place from the train station but may be difficult with large bags. Tivoli is not like Rome so the taxi drivers mostly do not speak English as a heads up. The place is amazing and was a great location and views.
Simone, the host, was really helpful to us. We arrived late and we got stuck in the city’s rush hour with a navigation that wasn’t working. He was kind enough to come with his scooter and guide us to the hotel. He also arranged a reservation to a very nice restaurant in town with the best view. The breakfast was delicious. Al palazzetto is a nicely designed B+B and Simone made our stay in Tivoli very pleasant and memorable.
Amazing host and lovely place. We had the nicer room that has a balcony overseeing the castle which was nice. So this is a interesting place. It was a three or four bedroom house before they changed it into a small hotel. The breakfast is at a restaurant a block away and has amazing pastries, gelato and amazing hamburger which is odd to choose in Italy but it was really good. Has an Elevator also which is nice with bags
A lovely Bed and Breakfast tucked away in a perfect location to visit the historic town of Tivoli. The owner (Filipo) was so warm and accommodating - we enjoyed getting to know him. Helped us secure reservations at an amazing local restaurant. The location was perfect for touring some of the best sights such as Villa Este and Villa Georgiana.
Excellent location in the centre of Tivoli. Owner was extremely helpful throughout our stay. He helped with our luggage, restaurant recommendations and what to see in Tivoli. Lovely roof terrace and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Bedrooms and en suite bathrooms were nicely decorated and very clean.
Everything! The host was a attentive, charming and a warm welcome to Tivoli, including helping us out with a ride from the train station! (We realized after what a easy, short walk it was from the train to the Castillo B&B.) Delicious homemade breakfast treats and attentive care for all our needs.
very secluded in the countryside but a short taxi run into Tivoli, 30min train ride into Rome, excellently situated if you want to visit Rome but want to avoid the “in city” hotels (mega expensive) and relax after a hectic day by the magnificent pool.
The history of Tivoli is echoed in the room and the age of the buildings, tidy cobbled streets and a sense of safety. Easy to get to restaurants and the sights of Tivoli (once you've found the way around all the piazzas 😀. Peaceful nights' sleep
The appartment is renewed, clean and very comfortable. Unlike most of the appartments in Tivoli old town, it is very quiet and bright. The host is very caring and gladly help you with everything. Definately one of the best places in the town!
Palo was very helpful he provided us with a list of excellent restaurants and was always available if we had questions.. palo also came and carried out cases down the many steps as my husband was struggling lifting.. thank you so much 🙏
The location was perfect for us to visit Tivoli. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was also fabulous. The staff were fantastic. Fresh eggs cooked for us at breakfast. We just loved it! Great room. Free parking on site.
Great central location in the historic district of Tivoli.Beautiful old building. Rooms were lovely, spacious and very well appointed. Pool area was really nice. Staff all exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Quiet, centrally located apartment, newly renovated and very clean. Stupendous roof terrace with excellent view of the hills around Tivoli. Two comfortable bedrooms with double beds and air conditioning.
This a beautiful hotel and was fully staffed with an excellent restaurant. The breakfast was superb and included in the price. Everyone in the hotel and restaurant provided excellent service.
Even better than a 5 star hotel. Central location with a free parking space. Provided with high quality interior and amenities. Breakfast was included and it was prepared in a shared kitchen.
Great location in a fab town full of history, character and welcome . Our hosts were most helpful and were on hand if we needed them. We loved our accommodation and everything about Tivoli
Super stylish pad in the heart of Tivoli. Comfortable bed and couch. Loved the rooftop terrace. Great place I would highly recommend. We stayed here three nights and it was just perfect.
