What I especially liked was the preserved atmosphere of the historical building and the stylish interior with antique elements. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions. The hotel is located in a great area — close to the main tourist attractions, cafes, and shops, yet in a quiet neighborhood that allows you to relax after a busy day. The breakfast menu includes coffee, croissants, pastries, delicious meats, and cheeses.

Magnificient old building, with an amazing stair case around this cool lift which worked fine. We had a great view from our room and it was really nice and clean. Bathroom was good too. The managers were awesome nice and accomodation. Very safe place to stay, and close enough to walk to different eateries, and close to trams and buses. We loved it.

Breakfast was only adequate. Limited selection and coffee seemed to be restricted to a single cup. Room was very plain with no coffee/tea making facility. The television was tiny and there was no glasses at all in the room. Room was a good size and the property was within easy walking distance of the centre and Porta Susa rail station.

Italy’s first capital, sophisticated Turin has many elegant buildings and porticoed streets. Large Piazza Castello is the focal point and centres on Palazzo Madama, an unusual structure with a Renaissance façade and medieval body.
The next door Royal Palace backs onto Turin Cathedral, home to the Turin Shroud, the cloth with an imprint of Christ only rarely on display. Its museum is just one of the many fantastic Turin museums. None is better than the Egyptian Museum, the largest collection of Egyptian artefacts outside Cairo. Also noteworthy is the Mole Antonelliana, housing displays on Italian cinema and supposedly the world’s tallest museum.
By the Po, Italy’s longest river, is the Parco del Valentino, a tranquil park that is home to the Borgo Medievale, an artificial, medieval-style settlement with a castle.
However, within Italy, Turin is best known for sport and cars. FIAT is based here and nostalgia lovers can visit the rooftop track on top of their old Lingotto factory, now a conference centre. The city’s 2 Serie A football clubs - Torino and Juventus - also have electric atmospheres at their games.
Watch out for amazing views of the Alps as you fly into Turin Airport. Public transport then quickly links you to your Booking.com hotel, B&B or hostel.

A very cultural and attractive city with many amazing museums (even an excellent museum of mountaineering just on the other side of the river!!). The Egyptian museum was excellent but extremely busy. I would recommend to allow fewer people in at one time... it was frustrating to view many of the exhibits even though they were amazing.
There were plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes and also many open spaces and squares where seating was outside - it was bustling and fun. The Reale museum was incredible and of course much is made of the Turin Shroud (whatever your views of it are ;-) ). The museum cafe was a favourite of mine being part-within the museum buildings and with excellent seating inside and outside.
I didn't have time to explore enough but the time I had there (about three days) was busy. On one day I took a bus trip (organised by our group) to an incredible abbey on top of a mountain with amazing views of the snow topped Alps... it's called Sacra di San Michele. Very impressive...

Our stay in Torino was too short, as the city has so much to offer and is truly worth visiting and recommending. There are countless beautiful places to see, and we definitely didn’t have enough time to explore it all. For sure, we will come back

Turin is a very well organized city, but rather boring, grey for me. The buildings and piazzas are maginificient, but not very well maintaned. So are the streets and the parks, green areas.
Lot of nice restaurants and cafes, the city is walkable/bikeable, I suggest to rent a bike if you can.
We went for a trip in Le Langhe and it is highly recommended. Amazing countryside.

Turin is a very interesting and beautiful city with lots of things to discover. Clean, with lots of shops and lovely wide roads. Definitely worth a drive up to the Superga Basilica which has breathtaking views over the city and the snow topped mountains in the distance. A very underrated city indeed.

This is our third visit to this wonderful historic hotel. We will stay again, as it is perfect for a short break to Turin. It is central, a good bus connection to Porta Susa, the main railway station. There are many restaurants nearby and the staff are great. This time, we took our Daughter, her husband and children with us. The hotel is good with children. We particularly like the large rooms traditionally furnished. Always an excellent breakfast, served by lovely waiters.
The staff were really great, so helpful, friendly and polite. They lent me a travel plug when I had the wrong type (Italy has two different types of plug). The breakfast was really good, a lot of choice and very filling.
The hotel is in a great central location, only 8 mins from the Egyptian museum and very close to the historic part of the city. Lots of nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Mini fridge in the room was great to keep some groceries.
Nice old building with plenty of character.
Room was nice and clean.
We checked in quite late but this wasn't an issue.
Staff were professional and helpful.
The main thing for this hotel is it's great value for money and also it's right next to one of the main train stations in the city, making it the perfect pit stop when traveling to the south of Italy.
Really great location and lovely to stay in a cute, smart apartment. Turin is a great destination for a short break or stopover (we stayed en route from Paris to Rome by train). The apartment is around 20 mins walk from either of the main stations.
I recently stayed at Hotel Due Mondi in Turin. First of all, I want to say that the staff was truly lovely—very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, which I really appreciated.
