Great picturesque city. Canals/waterways were very pretty. We stayed for 4 nights as we were there to enjoy the Tiramisu World Cup. Two nights would be plenty if not using as a base for Venice. There were lovely walks, great churches and I would recommend the self-guided walks/tours of the city. Lovely cafes serving great coffee, Prosecco and Tiramisu. Although being in Italy it was a challenge to find somewhere serving Pasta, which was very disappointing. And most restaurants only serve fish dishes. People very friendly and understanding of our lack of Italian...Google Translate was our best friend here. Would definitely recommend Treviso

We went to Treviso to take part in the Treviso Half Marathon...

We went to Treviso to take part in the Treviso Half Marathon and, at the same time, attend the World Tiramisu competition. First, we got the half marathon done, second, what's not to like about tiramisu? Third, the city itself is an interesting historic place. Far less busy than Venice, which we briefly visited on the way home, with more reasonably priced restaurants and less crowded sightseeing. It makes a good city for a short week-end break, but there are less items of interest than Venice or Florence, so you might want to move on after a few days.

Treviso's waterways are fascinating, forming many islands with bridges everywhere, and there is even a working water-mill in the centre of the city. BON Enobottega Veneta is a superb Enoteca specialising in local wines made from lesser known grape varieties - and they can be sampled on site. The most impressive restaurant was Hostaria Antica Contrada delle Due Torri, not just for the food, but also to experience a most accomplished sommelier.

The city is so charming and the people are great.

The city is so charming and the people are great. We happened upon a flea market and bought some incredible things at bargain prices (a 100% cashmere zipper hoodie with pockets for €150). The fish market is wonderful-some were still flapping! The local wine is delicious. There are so many beautiful streets to wander and the water wheels are fantastic! We absolutely loved this city and will return!

We really enjoyed Treviso.

We really enjoyed Treviso. It’s a beautiful, charming city with canals and little waterways running through it, which gives it a really special atmosphere. We loved walking around and exploring the city and would definitely come back.

We only had an afternoon and evening in Treviso; it was not a destination, just a stop for the airport. We would come back and spend time because it was so charming without the madness of Venice. We had a great meal and a lovely stroll through the streets at night.

We have stayed here before so knew it was good. The hotel is very handy for the centre of Treviso and also for Venice as it is close to both the bus and train stations for the short trip to Venice. The rooms are smart and very clean. Good air con. The staff are lovely and check in is very efficient. Staying again later in the year as we often use Treviso airport when we fly to this area.

This was a great hotel in a quiet location just a 20 minute walk into Treviso and 15 minute walk to the station. Such a bonus to have free parking! It was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the beautiful town of Treviso and city of Venice.

The best ever and safe parking place on Italy which we have never seen before. It was very important for us and the hotel accomplished that. Great selection in breakfast, wonderful dinner options at the Oro Basilico restaurant and fantastic swimming pool.
