    Venice is a great city.

Venice is a great city. The location of this villa is out of the chaos of St. Mark’s Square but has lots of restaurants around it. The water taxi was right in front so going into the main area was never a problem. The managers of the property were very helpful in setting up transportation both from the train station and to the airport. The property was very clean, kitchen well stocked and comfortable.

Late April was a good time to visit because the weather wasn't too hot and the lines weren't too long. Several of our group visited Saint Mark's Cathedral and they only waited a few minutes. One hint is to go an hour or two before closing, because it was less busy then. Kids enjoy riding around on the water taxis, so be sure to get an all-day pass. Any time they get tired of walking, just hop on a taxi for a while and enjoy the views.

Venice is a must see for everyone.

Venice is a must see for everyone. There is only one Venice in the world! Beautiful architecture, way of living, friendliness of the people. Just all-around great! My favourite Italian city ever :-) A visit to Burano/Murano is also worth a visit or even lunch in the colourful city streets of Burano.

Venice is a city that feels like it came out of a fairytale. I didn’t expect to find something so beautiful. Every corner was picturesque, surrounded by art, history, architecture, and delicious seafood. Everyone should see this city at least once in their lifetime.

We travelled to Venice from Florence by train and coming out the train station onto the Grand Canal is a wow. Then we took a private water taxi which was such a lovely relaxing thing to do. Of course we did a other of walking to the usual places you would expect and took a 4 hour tour to Murano, Bruano and Toccelli which was a great experience. It was also so much better now the cruise ships are banned, it wasn't mobbed or over crowded, we could walk round and whilst it was busy (as you would expect) it was ok.

The system on Booking.com failed as a result of a scam so our booking, although confirmed and booked several months in advance for this, ended up being lost on the system. This left us on the streets of Venice in the early hours of a Sunday morning with no access to the accommodation and no response from Wonderful Italy or Booking.com Eventually a hotel took us in at 2am. Very upsetting and disappointing experience to our romantic trip.

I enjoyed the easy access to everything in Venice, i could walk everywhere. Lots of great restaurants around the hotel and a few mtrs from the water bus station. The gentleman at the bar really went above and beyond to make our stay here a pleasant one. He even prepared a delicious pasta dish for us that i rate as one the best meals i have had in Italy.. thi is a great hotel otherwise, will highly recommend it.

Location! Breakfast was great. The staff were all super nice. We just got back from a July trip. Super hot in Venice, air conditioning in our room wasn’t great at all, however it’s probably not great at any hotel in Venice. The bathroom was huge and updated. Very nice bathtub which can be a rare find in Italy.
