This hotel is near the Rialto Bridge, San Marco Square, the Grand Canal, plenty of restaurants. The room was clean and pleasant, the fridge stocked with nice refreshments. The staff left us a welcoming basket of fruit our first day. A moderate sized room. Venice hotel rooms in general are not spacious. The hotel itself has a sweet, clean aroma, noticeable in the hallways and stairwells. I think it might be the carpeting, which looks new. Breakfast was served in an attractive room, with pleasant music and a buffet of plentiful and varied foods. There is a nice bar on the roof, with a view of the rooftops of the neighborhood.

Venezia is one of my oldest friends - every year I have to meet „my friend“ for at least some days. To discover Venezia it is always good to get up early, during the day it is stuffed with tourists (what we all are 😉) - so, if you do not know Venezia very well you can easily get confused and sometimes „lost“ - but this is how you get known to this beautiful masterpiece of art. Prepare yourself very wise - make reservations online long before your stay to get easy access without long waiting time. Enjoy every single moment there and do not walk on the main streets all the time - stay curios, it‘s worth the time.

Venice is a magical place, like nowhere else on earth.

Venice is a magical place, like nowhere else on earth. Obviously there are a lot of tourists, but it is easy to avoid them and explore the less popular areas. Sit yourself down with an Aperol Spritz outside a bar and watch the world go by. There are ancient churches, etc, full of artworks around every corner, many of them free to enter. One of its appeals is that there are no cars or bikes, etc. All transport is by foot or by boat. The public Vaporetto service is excellent.

Venice is such a charming, romantic & interesting city, I would strongly recommend a pair of comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking involved if you wish to see all the main attaractions. One of my favorite things to do is sit in the Cafe Florian in St Marks square enjoying a coffee & a torta di mele, although a bit pricey, its worth every penny to be transported back to the titanic era listening to the orchestra playing, enjoying my coffee whilst reading a book. there are so may nice restaurants to enjoy that I cant really recommend just one, try the Cicchetti in the bars whist drinking a beer, these are little bites to eat and are usually displayed in glass chillers at the bar for you to pick from.

A beautiful city with lots to see and do. You could eat cheap or expensive. The public transport network via the water ferries is easy to navigate. We had an amazing meal at Al Vechio Forno and did a trip to the Doge's Palace and St Mark's Basilica which was worth it.

    Two days are required.

Two days are required. Well organised visting to Doge's Palace. St. Mark church visit top expensive, due to cascade's paymant. Horrible rip off. However the old town is absoluty unusual. Water tram works very well, but the price for non-citizens is discriminatory.

My second stay was at the Le Isole Hotel in Venice. Amazing breakfast (maybe even the best you can get in hotels in all of Italy of hotels of 3-star level), cleaning services, and very kind staff. The hotel is just in the center of Venice, a few steps from St Marco and it is super easy to get to the airport and back with the ferry which goes from the Venice airport because the station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Very calm, even if it's in the center, with clean rooms and good room service. I will be back again for sure!

Very easy!! We arrived to Venice too early and the apartment wasn't ready but the host was nice enough to let us leave our luggage and he met us very shortly after and Neve the cleaning lady was extremely accommodating. The location was excellent. Very close to everything. The apartment is so nice and clean with a beautiful view of the canal at the back. It was our first trip to Italy and we are happy with our choice. We will come back and most definitely stay here!! Thank you for everything and your kindness!! Best luck always!
