The room was great and Barbara is a fantastic host. The location is excellent, down by the water, but only a 2-3 min walk to the train station. There is a restaurant and bar at the bottom of the step up to the accommodation. There is a coin laundromat about a 5 min walk away, up past the train station with a very nice cafe next door. The kitchen was very well stocked and restocking was not a problem. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Highly recommend as a base to explore Cinque Terre.

Great communication in advance made it easy to find. Very nice flat with a large and comfortable bed and lots of wardrobe-space. We didn’t use the middle room as we only were 2, but it could easily fit 2 more adults. The location couldn’t be better.

Our suite was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful once we were able to connect with them. The stairs to reach the apartment door are steep, long and marble. There is one landing mid way up but no landing at the apt. door. The lights are also on a timer. We are 2 seniors travelling and found this to be challenging, yet doable. The hosts were happy to help with our luggage at check out, all you need to do is ask and keep good communication. Nothing not to like, it was a great base to stay at to enjoy the wonderful Cinque Terra. The kitchen was great, a big fridge gas stove and we took advantage of that. Toiletries were provided which was a nice touch.

Small beautiful village with excellent restaurants. We enjoyed fresh seafood at Il Gattaccio and INITIO. Very accessible to all the nearby villages and to the hiking trails which we thoroughly enjoyed!

Vernazza was right in the middle of the five cities...

Vernazza was right in the middle of the five cities...perfect for hiking a trail and taking the train back to home base. I loved the little harbor and narrow winding streets. We loved the Pirates breakfast place behind the church and would highly recommend it. I also personally loved the anbiance at the little coffee shop just above the train station. The town was small but super quaint.

One of the more beautiful of the five.

One of the more beautiful of the five. Lots of steps to hotels in general so pack light...small carry on and back pack or foldie bag. Less is more. Great access to trails to Monterosso and Corniglia. Lots of restaurants, shops, views and train station is close to everything. Enjoy!

I stayed 2 days/3 nights in Vernazza.

I stayed 2 days/3 nights in Vernazza. I hiked the trails and visited the other villages and Vernazza was my favourite (2nd Manarola). The sunset was beautiful. Thankfully not too many stairs to get to my room. The trains were easy to use and quite frequent. There were excellent views from the trails. Would definitely go back if I could.

The view had to be the best view in all Cinque Terre! We researched all the towns doe 6 months to find the right accommodation with amazing views and I can’t fault it. The beautiful people we met on check in and the cleaner was wonderful. Can’t thank them enough for their kindness and making such a small space so workable. It was perfect for two of us for a few days! Can’t fault it! If you don’t stay here you’re doing yourself a disfavor!!

Absolutely beautiful location! Right in the centre of Vernazza. Views are awesome!!! The room is a standard size, comfortable enough for two people. Bed was good - no issues. The room includes a mini fridge, kettle and cups which were helpful. Bathroom is small which is pretty standard for Italy wasn’t an issue for us. We slept with the windows open (due to heat etc) so the light comes in the morning but with an eye mask no issues!

Spotlessly clean and well equipped in a fabulous location, this apartment enjoys stunning views and is right in the centre of the harbour area. The host, Lorenzo, was very friendly and helpful and is clearly justifiably proud of the property. It was the perfect base to explore Vernazza and the wider Cinque Terre and to return to, to get away from the crowds.

Everything. We were delighted with our choice of Vernazza, and La Mala really made it a wonderful stay. Travelling light and car free proved to work really well along the Cinque Terre coast. We sat out on the terrace most evenings till sunset returning in the morning to enjoy sunrise. Very relaxing!
