First off is the ease of getting there by bus from Narita or Haneda. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Second is the location, it is directly connected to Makuhari Messe by a walk way and short walk to a few malls and restaurants. 3rd is the hotel is clean and the facility and amenities is great. There are a few restaurants and a 24 hr Lawson’s convenience store within the hotel.

Chiba JR station 3min. The location is vibe!! Hotel and room are very good, comfortable, clean and with than price!

Staff was amazing and didn’t make me embarrassed for my poor Japanese, they also had someone who was at least bilingual on staff it seemed like. They also have bath salts available!! That was above and beyond for me you can have a soak in the tub with multiple different scents of bath salts. Location was great too although really far from where I had to go. The Italian restaurant in there was also delicious and I’ve been to Italy several times. It was a chaotic journey so just nice to come there and have the staff be so great, check in was also really easy. Also walking distance to some castle ruins (like under 15 minutes!) and right across the street from 7/11.

One train ride to makuhari. Close to shops and 24 hour stores. Walking distance to train station and bus station. Breakfast buffet was good.

Amazing hotel for the price. Room was gigantic by Japanese standards and onsen was simply terrific. Also . . . fast elevators !!

Hotel was beautiful! I also lost my phone in a taxi and I informed the staff. The staff was extremely helpful trying to help me locate my phone and I am extremely greatful for the help. Luckily my phone was at the police station, but the staffs commitment to provide great customer service was really amazing. Highly recommend staying here!

Very comfortable beds, and relaxing to have a nice warm bath at the public bath. Excellent Japanese set breakfast.

Check in and checkout process was very smooth. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best water pressure in the shower I felt in any hotel in a long time. Only stayed one night as a transition between two hotels of different parts of the country. It's more of a business type hotel.

Nice large room with comfortable beds

Fantastic hotel if you want to stay outside of Tokyo but still have relatively fast connections into the city! Despite the hotel being located in a rather quiet area, you'll find multiple supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and the Soga train station mere minutes away on foot. Tokyo, Narita airport, Makuhari Messe event center, and lots of other locations and towns are easily accessible via public transport. The breakfast was amazing and consisted of a large buffet with freshly prepared meals (ranging from vegetables to meat and fish). I want to highlight how friendly and competent the hotel staff was, especially at the breakfast buffet - it was always a joy to eat there! Our room was more than sufficient, well equipped, and actually quiet spacious for Japanese standards. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Vessel Ekimae location and for a mid level hotel it is very cost effective.

Location was great, pleased to enjoy hot bath in the evening after a long day, enjoyed after bath treats. Would definitely stay again

Very near to Chiba station, quiet despite near the station. Staff were very friendly and polite. Very clean, comfortable and spacious room.

The hotel is in an ideal location, with plenty of restaurants, shopping malls, convenience stores, and train stations all within walking distance. Late-night ramen shops are also just around the corner. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and a baggage drop-off service is available for added convenience. Despite the nearby train lines, the rooms are soundproof, so you can enjoy a quiet and comfortable stay.

It has great amenities, will keep you busy for a while just by staying in the hotel. Great service. Helpful from desk. Good breakfast, snack, drink, games and other free activities. The price is super good compared to what you get.

Everything about this hotel is great: it’s a 5 min walk to Chiba Station (make it your first night of flying to Narita, it’s only a 40 minute train ride from the airport), it’s located next to awesome restaurants, the room was a small, but very functional one, including a Japanese style toilet with buttons. The best thing about this hotel is their Japanese style breakfast: lots of healthy and delicious options, a pear juice, coffee / green tea. Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful staff who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable! The extra amenities were very well appreciated, and the room was extremely spacious.
