Breakfast was excellent in a small traditional restaurant setting. I ordered the Japanese set which was sufficient tasty and well balanced. Hotel also offered a free shuttle service which takes about 5min to New Chitose Airport.

Inn Chitose Ekimae is a 5-minute walk from Chitose Train Station. It offers modern accommodations, free parking and free internet.

The ladies' baths were on a separate floor, and they had a "shampoo bar" with a variety of different shampoos and conditioners. Car parking attendants were very nice.

    Stay in Chitose too. It is really cute and offers plenty of shopping and restaurants. Everybody heads to Sapporo but Chitose has plenty to offer. There is also a huge Outlet Mall. Fantastic! But gets very busy during Japanese Holidays.

    Chitose is just a small little place to spend a night or two for international connecting flights &/ domestic flights . It is a pleasant little place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city!

    Chitose was just a stopover for us to get from Niseko back...

    Chitose was just a stopover for us to get from Niseko back to our country. The airport has more than enough entertainment to occupy us. It gave us a chance to do some last minute souvenir shopping and also buy bento boxes to eat on the plane.

    The only reason we stayed in Chitose was to take the bus up...

    The only reason we stayed in Chitose was to take the bus up to Lake Shikotsuko. We didn't do any hiking, so a half day was plenty for this part. There aren't many dining options in Chitose if you are on foot (we traveled by train), and very little in the way of other attractions in town. It seems to be mainly a convenient place to stay after you fly in from the nearby airport.

    It is inconvenient to check in, the heating is not warm enough, it is difficult for us to fall asleep at night. There is no restaurant nearby, and the transportation is inconvenient. I will not make a reservation next time.

    The staffs are all very friendly. The free shuttle to airport is a plus point. Stayed at the hotel as I’ve early flight to catch the next day. I always find hotel with free shuttle to airport to save the hassle.
