We had a comfortable, no fuss stay. Good location - around 10-min walk to Nagoya station, many great food/cafe options close by. There's a convenience store across the street. Reception staff were friendly and spoke good English. Not a fancy hotel by any means, but we expected it given the price paid. Good value for money. We appreciated that they had umbrellas for guests to borrow when it rained.

There's not a lot of 'touristy' stuff to do in Nagoya, but it's less busy than Tokyo and felt refreshing after crowds of tourists. The green belt leading to Mirai Tower was really nice to walk along, especially at night when there were lights. Mirai Tower also had great views. Oasis 21 is neat to look at and walk on the roof, and there were some neat shops. We found a great gluten free (coeliac friendly) restaurant called Michinori Tei that did delicious meal sets and cute desserts. The aquarium took 2-3 hours (the dolphin show was impressive), and Nagoya Castle grounds are ok. The castle was closed when we were there, but Honmaru Palace was open and had lovely interior decoration. The metro map is fairly simple.

We stayed in Nagoya as we were visiting Ghibli Park.
We stayed in Nagoya as we were visiting Ghibli Park. I am not sure I would go back there unless there was a reason to visit. There’s lots of shopping, particularly high end if that floats your boat. Nice eating places. The castle is interesting and doable in half a day. Nagoya is easy to get around via subway. We sis visit the Snoopy cafe, which is pricey and not as well themed as other cafes.

it is about a 9 minute walk to Nagoya station. their smart TV shows a live feedback on the status of the laundry machine. so we get to know if any of the machine is available or the amount of time left for our washing to be done in the comfort of our room. the room is quite small for 2 adults and 2 children but this is a business hotel and in city centre so we should not expect the room to be very big.
Only 15ish min walk from Nagoya station and close to the castle. Family mart right next door which was handy but any other restaurants are about a 10-15 min away from the hotel. Staff were nice and rooms were clean. Has an outside onsen on the roof along with an inside one, a sauna and a cold bath too which I loved!
There is an amenity bar that includes drip coffee bags and one's choice of pillow. The hotel is directly behind Nagoya station and easily reached through the underground shopping area. The room was small, as expected, but well organized and comfortable.
Hotel is located near the Nagoya station, although in a back alley, so you do have to look for it a bit :) The hotel is rather new, the personel is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.
The hotel is within short walk to Nagoya train station but the area has a lot nightlife (for guys) which might not be safe for ladies to travel alone at night.
