The property is in the Myeongdong action! Easy to maneuver around. The 9 different pillow types was awesome! I tried the cypress and oddly found it very comfortable to sleep with. The toilet with a bidet was a fun addition too. We were close to the elevator and did not hear much, which was great! Decent sized window as well. The room itself was small, but still bigger than others. You could open your suitcase

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel: check-in process was clean, facilities were clean, room was spacious, shower worked great, staff were friendly, no sound disturbance, fantastic breakfast spread. My short stay was perfect and I would 110% return to stay at this hotel again.

The bed was nice and firm, and the pillows were one of the best pillows I ever used. We had a pleasant 2 night stay and the location was perfect. Staff members were very accommodating. Because we had a late flight, we were able to do a late checkout for a fee.

Seoul is a large and vibrant city. The main centre is around Namsam (Seoul Station, Namsam park, Myeongdong), but other areas are interesting and bustling as well. For hikers enthusiasts, the trail on the old city wall is surely a good choice, and offers great views over the town. Namsam at night is always a sight worth the hike. The time around Buddha's birthday will add some magic to the streets, especially close to temples, with tons of colourful lanterns hang on trees and cables, as well as huge statue-like lanterns in temples and squares. Beware of this season for travel though, since most trains will be completely packed. A nice day trip from Seoul is Gangneun, with its wonderful beaches.

It’s huge. It’s full of world class shopping. The local design is exciting and edgy. The food is varied and a high quality. Finding world class coffee is easy. Bakeries and pastries and brunches are everywhere. Markets and palaces and history are everywhere. This is one of the world’s most important and exciting cities.

I arrived in Korea for 10 days, it just wasn't enough time; this is a me problem though and not Seouls. The transport system is vast and you can get anywhere but the train stations took me a few days to become comfortable with. A lot of the stations are more like small shopping malls compared to my home country (UK). This isn't a complaint of the stations, they are just different. Public toilets in most stations too and they're clean and free to use, which is a plus, especially in the summer where you do a lot of walking and drinking to stay hydrated.
So much culture and places to see and take in but not enough time to do so in 10 days. Seoul is so big, I totally underestimated it but I squeezed in so much in so little time. There are so many places to eat too, just restaurants everywhere, you will NOT go hungry in this city.
It is also a super safe city, I didn't feel unsafe at any time.
As a westerner(solo traveller, for context), the only thing I couldn't get used to is NO ONE looks at you on the street, there are no little nods and people saying "hi" or "good morning" as a pleasantry on the street. I walked past another westerner and she caught my eye smiling at me, I smiled back and we both giggled; it was a comforting exchange between two strangers in a city who are just used to that little, what seemed before, an insignificant interaction.
I left Seoul with a smile on my face and a determination to go back with more time to spend doing things. I'd point out here, as I have when I've been back when people ask "how was Korea", I respond with, "I only saw Seoul, not Korea" and emphasise how large Seoul is on its own.

Definitely try out myeondong night market.
Definitely try out myeondong night market. The food there is amazing. Especially the potato rings in sticks. If you have big bags , and dont want to cram into a cab, take the subway. Its easy with naver map and google maps. Even if you accidently get lost, korean people will be there at a flash asking where you want to go and which country you are from. The DMZ tour will need a tour guide, but others places you can easily navigate by the map and locals.
The koreans are so friendly and kind. Never thought i would find so much friendly people ready to help :)
Also definitely visit war memorial. Its very cool and curious to learn korea history all at one place.
Then there is a small shop called waffle University. Try it out as well. Yummy

The comfiest bed we stayed in whilst in South Korea (we also stayed in Myeongdong area and Busan). Although it’s an older hotel, everything was clean and fresh. Attractive lobby area. Excellent concierge taxi coordinator - fluent English. If you are visiting Gangnam, it’s ideally located close to bars/ restaurants and shopping Street - all within 5 minutes walk. Apparently that area is also the plastic surgery capital of S Korea, if you are so inclined, judging by the number if clinics in the neighbourhood.
A very, very, very, very, very, very good accommodation experience!!! The staff is warm and considerate 🥺🥺 The kitchen is also fully equipped! I made Mark's set meal in it 😁 The transportation location of the hotel is very convenient! There are many different convenience stores and delicious food nearby😋. I will live here next time I come to South Korea! 🥰🥰🥰
The location is amazing, right next door to the Lotte department store and across from Myeongdong markets. The room had a nice view and was very comfortable. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Beautiful hotel which made for a great experience in Seoul. We stayed in several hotels in South Korea and this one was by far the best.
Very welcoming. Loved the kids packs they gave the kids when we checked in. Staff were extremely helpful. Room was clean and beds were so comfortable. The free drinks were an added bonus. Our best hotel stay in south korea.
