Clean & fresh. No bad smells Staff were all lovely and tried so hard to please us. Ordered a Sri Lankan omelette & fries in the large restaurant which were great. Food served quickly… but we were the only guests. Supplied 2 bottles of water on 1st day but not on the 2nd day. Ceiling fan is quite Our room had a nice outlook over the pool area and garden Water pressure & temp are ok The rooms are large and spacious Nice enclosed terrace in front of the rooms with table and chairs Great quiet location. Only a short drive into the village for a meal or drinks and only 10 min drive to Lion Rock.

The pool was gorgeous and we loved having a morning and afternoon dip. Our room whilst large was in need of a good coat of paint and the air conditioner needed replacing, it worked but made a rattling noise and the fins were broken. The breakfast was good, lots of choice.

The host was so helpful about activities and best places to go! Recommended the BEST massage experience place in Sri Lanka so best you ask about it(20min drive from the stay but worth it!) The bedroom was spacious,clean and super comfortable with a kettle and fridge which is a great win on a trip! The AC worked like a dream. Breakfast included was big and set us up for the day! The location is fantastic as you could literally walk 50m and you were at all the restaurants in the little town!

Really lovely guesthouse set back from the main road. Really feels like you are in the jungle. The room and bathroom were great and really clean / well presented and the bed was very big and comfortable. This location has a couple of restaurants on the road and there is another collection of restaurants just down the road. The host was super nice and friendly.

    The hotel is located on a place which has a great view, the staff is very friendly and supplied everything we need. There was a bathtub, sugar, coffee packets, and also there was a minibar for every room. The breakfast was excellent.

    So much to do and see! 3 nights is plenty, but easy to fill it! Climb the rock, absolutely do a village tour; go for a herbal massage (but prepare for a different kind of massage to normal!); and go on safari! We had a driver which made getting around super easy, but there are countless tuktuks you can rent.

    Excellent natural landmark with lush forest surroundings. But climb up is overhyped. Only the view from top is extraordinary. On the contrary climb up the adjacent Pidurangala Rock has more rewarding view of the main Rockmass in the afternoon/sunset

    It was a very expensive entry fee to the rock, USD32 per person. The guides around the base are very persistent and can become a nuisance. We had a good tuk tuk ride round the base, which was lovely and booked privately, oh and it's perfectly ok to haggle on the price. Plenty of local cafes and juice bars. Fab place was The Green Hut Hotel, just 10 mins walk from Lion Rock, lovely rooms, great English speaking host and super food. Local temple worth a 15 minute look see. Tuk tuks everywhere and good value. Safari to Minneriya was great, saw loads of elephants.

    Three nights, i.e. two days are perfect: half a day for each - elephant-safari in Minneriya National Park - Dambulla cave temples - Sigiriya rock - Polonnaruwa, the ancient capital But you need a taxi or tuktuk to get around.

    We spend one night here.

    We spend one night here. Depending on what you want to do it was plenty of time. We arrived in the early afternoon checked into our accommodation and went to Dambulla Cave Temple. The following morning we got up before sunrise to climb Lion Rock, which despite what people say, is worth it. The fee was acceptable for us since it is a UNESCO site. After the hike we had breakfast and made our way further south.

    What a wonderful location!

    What a wonderful location! The pool was a true blessing after our exhausting flight, and the environment is quite soothing. Asanka's meal was incredibly delicious. The personnel was really helpful!

    The people that run this place are the living embodiment of kindness. The guy will help you arrange your travels and make sure you’re paying correct prices, and can offer tourist and tuktuk services also very well priced. The woman cooks very well- say yes to chicken and curry! They also have two daughters that are also smart and kind. The garden is lovely and you will enjoy taking your tea there. I could just go on and on. Look no further- this is the best place in sigiriya.

    The surrounding was so calming. The room was clean. The staff was kind enough to upgrade our room to a deluxe room free of charge. The dinner and breakfast both were tasty. The biggest plus point is the gigantic pool. The pool was clean as well. We visited the Sigiriya lion’s rock in the morning and got a little late to cone back to the hotel to checkout. However, the staff was friendly enough to accommodate our concern and allowed us a late checkout for free. Kudos!

    Thank you for a beautiful stay it was tranquillity to escape from the heat! From the time of arrival to departure, we felt so welcomed into the hotel by all staff. Probably one of the best included breakfasts we had in Sri Lanka. The fridge in the room was super useful and we liked that it was stocked with very reasonably priced refreshing beverages. The hosts were very helpful & gave us good advice. We wished we had time to stay more than one night!

    Amazing place and amazing people! The owner, Loku, is very friendly and location is great too, quiet and not far from every attraction. He provides transportation, food, safari, herbal and spice garden visit. If you need anything, you'll get it. Room was spacious and clean, I really loved my stay there.     A beautiful home stay right in a jungle! the little town of sigiriya was just a few min away on foot and you are so close to both rocks! I even walked one way to climb pidurangala. Pradeep restaurant recommended by the family was great with yummy food and best fresh juices I had in Sri Lanka! Dambulla caves were a total wow! You must visit! best to stay at least two nights. The family running this guesthouse was kind and supportive.

    The property is very nice, set near the Lion’s Rock. the view from the pool is the best part about this hotel. the rooms were fine but not that well kept as compared to other places we stayed in Sri Lanka. the staff is very nice but sometimes hard to understand. The food was ok, but we had better food in a simple restaurant in the Sigiriya village. We enjoyed very much the Bird watching trail with Kingsly!

    This small hotel is super clean and comfortable. Our room had incredible views across the fields to Sigiriya Rock. Breakfast each morning was delicious and we really enjoyed our curry dinner on the 1 night we ate there. The staff and owner have great communication and went out of their way to help us and ensure we had a wonderful stay. They kindly let us have a super late check out.

    the staff at Sigiriya Kele were incredible, they were always around to offer the best tips on what to do and where to go. We ate dinner here on the first night and it was amazing, the breakfast was also the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The hotel has great pool facilities which are perfect for relaxing after climbing Lions Rock. Location is also good only a 1km walk to the town.

    The swimming area is amazing. I struggle to find proper swimming pools where I can exercise. This place has the best pool if ever seen in a hotel. Upali, the owner, is amazing! Do not hesitate to sit down and have a chat with him. The food is very good quality. And the hotel itself is a little peaceful oasis.

    This is a very good hotel with great design. The location is amazing to climb both rocks. Also we had the best food in Sri Lanka here.
