City that is mich bigger that it seems from a first look, especially if you get out of old town and the center. Lots of things to see. Lithiania's second largest city with 330 000 people. Very green with tons of parks.

The old town area is highlight. Trams extreme cheap.
The old town area is highlight. Trams extreme cheap. Centre main road pedestrianised well with a walk. Outside haven’t got much to see but is pleasant. People and bus drivers can be rude and ill mannered but Apparantly this is known. Younger people seem very good and helpful. Language is a problem at times.

What a beautiful city, clean, safe, spacious, green (by this I mean lots of trees and open spaces AND green initiatives like trolley buses, pedestrian spaces and robot mowers!).
Really interesting architecture (beautiful central domed cathedral and period architecture buildings), street scenes and cafe culture. Longest shopping street in Europe! Euro currency. A safe, family feel. Great Bolt taxi service and good choice of hotels and restaurants. Lots of cafes, bars and pubs. Good for couples, families and friends. I really loved it. I’m told it is very Lithuanian, which would be great praise for the country. It should have been higher up my travel list. We came from the UK for the Nord Orthopaedic clinic (VERY EXCELLENT) but will be back for holidays. Nice straight talking locals with excellent English language. Its really easy. Also a great, modern, close airport. All good.
This is a great hotel. In every way. Especially good value. The facilities were excellent. The staff was helpful when I arrived and offered advice and a map to the town. The building is a renovated historical property from the German period (hence the name), but the renovation is very sleek and modern and stylish. The room was small, but that's what I wanted. The location was good for enjoying te city's night life and restaurants. This was an excellent experience. It made my visit to Kaunas better.
Very very nice personnel (best regards!), oryginal style of all hotels room, uniqe decor - reception and evacuatuion plan <3 :D nice breakfast with wonderful view from big terrace, possibility to use big tv with playstation, youtube etc, close to the city centre, close to shop, parking with CCTV camera. For sure we'll not forget this hotel :)
We had a 2 nights stay in this renovated hotel and it was good value for money. It's located in city center with lot's of cafes nearby. Room was located on a 5-th floor, was modern decorated with a perfect view and really comfortable beds. Hotel has it's own free parking inside the territory, which it very helpful.
Nice house with 3 sleeping rooms/beds. Beautiful nature - river nearby for fishing, quiet neighbourhood and good sleep quality. Has small basketball court and a piano for kids to play and parking room for cars. Fast working internet and tv. Large shopping centers nearby. Taxi is around 4-5 eur to city center.
Nice hotel in the centre of the city, close to the main pedestrian passage. Safe parking in the yard behind the hotel. Getting there is not a problem, as the hotel sent a detailed description of the getaway route. Only the entrance leading from the car park directly to the hotel should be better signposted.
The apartment was extremely modern and clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant experience. Its location in the city center was convenient, allowing us easy access to various attractions and amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-maintained and contemporary accommodation.
the property location is in the city center nearby pedestrian area restaurant and shops
The hotel rooms are large and confortable. Lobby is organized to offer working and meeting speces
Cheap breakfast, beds were confortable. Hotel is located about 20 minutes by walk from city centre - easy to reach even in the night. Staff were friendly and helpful.
A brand new hotel on the outskirts of the city centre; very clean, big comfy rooms, good parking facilities, decent breakfast and really nice friendly staff.
