For us it was 'back to the childhood', many years back we often spent summer months there. It's not so crowd as used to be, but still nice. Service is wonderful, food is good, easy to get to everything, people are friendly.

It is a beautiful place with unbeatable beaches and clear sea. While it can be expensive, there are quite a few well priced restuarants with beautiful food, especially the beach cafes. Transport is cheap and efficient.

For me, Jūrmala was a nostalgic trip and a return to my youth. Life doesn't stand still, and a lot has changed — but some things stayed the same: the hospitality of the Latvian people, the clean sandy beaches, the fresh sea and pine air, the rich cultural life, and the delicious, hearty food.

It is really nice place to rest :) in Jurmala you will get a nice and very clean beach with white sand, even if it is a crowdy weekend, you will find quiet spot for your family, you can easily book a room just steps to the beach and the price will be reasonable. But prices in restaurants could be a bit smaller as per Jurmala.

Wooden Villa Apartments is a few minutes walk from Jurmala's beautiful beach and ideal for beach walks in the winter and swimming in the summer. In the opposite direction is Jurmala's main street with a good choice of restaurants and shops.
The apartment we rented was large with two full-size bedrooms and lots of closet space - ideal for a longer stay.

The location was the best possible in Jūrmala – peaceful, right by the pedestrian street.
A small, pleasant hotel. The room was clean, with daily cleaning and towel changes. Breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast room was cozy.

Hotel looked like just opened: clean, stylish, spacious, nicely designed. Very family firendly hotel. Even beach toys for kids was there to take if you didn't bring some. Personel was very friendly and eager to help.

Provided that beach season in jurmala is very short, I am surprised how well this hotel is ran. Most things are comparable or better than many 5star hotels in Mediterranean. Well done to the management
