Good location, nice spa, tasty breakfast

I loved staying at this 100 year old B&B. The rooms were large, clean, the furniture not modern but everything seemed authentic and went with the decor of the building. The included breakfast buffet was delicious and we ate dinner there for 2 nights as well. Many choices and for dinner you just pay for what you choose on the buffet, the prices very reasonable. The wifi worked great and there was very hot water and good pressure in the shower. We got fresh towels delivered to our door the second day. The staff at the B&B were very friendly and helpful, especially explaining the dishes offered for breakfast and dinner. There is a little bakery attached to the B&B with some tasty treats. Some of the rooms are located in the building next door where there is a cool bar downstairs, Valhalla. I highly recommend staying here for your visit to Sigulda.

We stayed for one night during our road trip, and this stay was nice and restorative. Nice garden for an evening walk, an amazing restaurant with a terrace and views, very comfy beds, and a nice breakfast.

The hotel reception works until 21.00, however, they managed to leave us key at the restaurant so that we can check-in later.

All the staff are very kind and helpful! Great shared terrace on the top floor. Big flat screen TV was used by children :)

Great location next to the railway station and beautiful parks with plenty of dining options very close by. Elvi and Maxima stores on 5min walking distance. Knight castle style interior of the hotel is unique. Free parking. Comfortable room with refrigerator. Decent selection of tv channels.

We were upgraded to a bungalow and it was gorgeous! Everything looked new and it was a very peaceful one night stay. Breakfast was wonderful. It wasn't included in the booking but we were able to pay separately when we arrived. It was a short walk to the cable car, places to eat, walking stick park, Sigulda New Castle and the Castle of the Livonian Order. It was only a twenty minute walk to the the bobsleigh track, but we drove there on our way out of town because it was a hot day and there was a lot of walking at the track if you wanted to walk alongside it. It was a perfect stay and I wish we were there longer. I would definitely recommend Villa Vanilla!
