We stayed two nights at this camp, they had fun optional activities available like 4-wheeling, 4x4 jeep rides, and camel rides. Upon arrival (via camel!) we were greeted with 6+ musicians playing traditional music, mint tea, and cookies/treats. The tents were very comfortable to sleep in, the showers were nicer than I expected, and the A/C in the evening was appreciated! Be forwarned, in April they would turn off the generators during the day to ensure energy for nighttime, so hanging out in the tent in the day is not an amazing option - I was sick so needed to rest and it was *boiling*. I would LOVE to return when feeling better someday because the location was so neat!

This was a great experience!! The camp was well laid out, hospitality was amazing, and the entertainment even better. Our camp room even had usb charging ports- a very well laid out camp site!!!!

I had an amazing stay at Desert Villa Merzouga. What truly makes this place special is the story behind it—it’s owned and built by two brothers from a nomadic family who turned their dream into reality, and you can feel that passion in every detail. The team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to share their knowledge about the desert and local culture, which made the experience even more meaningful. The heated pool is a fantastic touch, especially after a day exploring the dunes, offering a perfect place to relax. The restaurant is another highlight, with an impressive choice of 11 different menus, giving you plenty of variety and delicious options to enjoy during your stay. Overall, Desert Villa Merzouga is more than just a place to stay—it’s a warm, authentic experience created by people who truly care about what they do. Highly recommended!

Lovely camp with excellent host, Hassan, who was incredibly accommodating. They coordinated a cooking class, ATV ride, camel ride there, and sunrise camel ride. We wanted to learn how to cook a tajine too and they set it up for us. We enjoyed hanging out with the other people working at the camp too, including an impromptu drum circle. Would absolutely stay here again.

We will never forget our time at the opulent desert camp. The tent was lovely, roomy, and equipped with everything we required. From the moment we arrived, the staff was really friendly and made us feel comfortable. Dinner beneath the stars was fantastic, and the camel ride through the dunes at sundown was magical. We spent the evening listening to traditional music by the campfire, which created a lovely ambiance. For anyone traveling to the Sahara, this is highly recommended!

Me and two friends stayed at this camp in the Merzouga Desert and had an unforgettable time! The staff was super friendly and organized everything we needed from the camel ride at sunset to quad biking and sandboarding. The camp was clean, comfortable, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great desert adventure!

We booked a 2 night stay as we really wanted to enjoy a full day in the camp. We arrived late on our first day at around 18:30 and had a welcome tea. We were then taken to watch the sunset by a 4x4 - our driver was keen to take pictures of us and everyone on our car. We came back and around 20:30 dinner was served. Then we enjoyed local music. The next day we booked ATVs (which are paid organized by the camp). Our ATV guide was professional and the ATVs were brand new along with clean and really good helmets. You can also get a paid tour in the Sahara by a 4x4 but we decided not take it as we wanted some time to chill and experience the camp. The guys at the camp are very friendly and it’s a pleasure having a conversation with them. Hassan we always available and even brought my friend a cigar pack as we ran out of Dhirams. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. WiFi connection was good. Book your stay on this camp and you surely won’t regret it!

We had a great time at Les Roches. The staff were friendly and welcomed us with a cup of tea. The rooms were clean and well-decorated. We enjoyed the pool and admired the beauty of the dunes. The hotel served delicious food and arranged an amazing desert experience for us. We enjoyed the camel ride into the dunes and had fun sandboarding. The food was amazing, and we truly enjoyed our stay at Les Roches. We will definitely come back next time. Thank you very much!

Excellent time luxury camp gave me more than just a stay it gave me memories I’ll treasure forever. The warm welcome from the hosts instantly made me feel at home, and the camp itself was stunning, with comfortable tents that still carried the charm of the desert. Watching the sun sink behind the dunes, riding camels through golden sand, and sitting around the fire under a sky full of stars felt like living inside a beautiful story. Every meal was delicious, every smile genuine. If you want to feel the heart we recommend it to everyone
