Traditional style with amazing service but still modern, breakfast is amazing very complete any request they respond really fast. Everyone speaks English so it is very easy to get any information. police is always around the property so feels really safe. Transportation: property is in Hivernage is a more high-end neighborhood but really close to La Medina. For us was amazing to be able to be close to La Medina but without being in the middle of the super busy Medina. For around €10 you can get into the airport

Really hard to rate this hotel, because on the one hand it's managed very very well, and in terms of value for money - it's absolutely worth it. But on the other hand it's uncomparable to real luxury 5 stars hotels. Though It's unfair to make such comparison, cause those hotels costs 2-3 times more at least, if you stayed there, you unfortunately will do it anyway. So it's not a this hotel's problem it that case... Food, rooms, pools - all of that is good. Golf - tried it first time. Was very nice and interesting, glad that I've tried it (practice range, not the course itself, but that's more than enough) Stuff - everybody friendly and helpful (as much as they possibly can given that it's quite a big hotel and there are a lot of customers)

Beautiful city with a rich cultural history and gorgeous markets you can wander around in all day. The people, however, are a different matter. When the locals always try, and sometimes succeed in blatantly scamming you, it leaves a very bad taste in your mouth so just be careful.

Outside area of medina feels safer than inside the medina. Some really lovely restaurants and bars. Medina is chaotic and feels very unsafe with local men trying to take you with them to somewhere you can be robbed. Have had experience of men asking for money from me and also had friends being threatened by local man if they didn’t handover money. So much more to Marrakech than the medina. We went to Ouzoud waterfall, 3 hours outside of Marrakech but the waterfall was amazing and had wild monkeys around the area. Stunning by scenery.

This is one of those places where one minute you're having a magical moment enjoying a 500-year-old building in a beautiful environment, and then a minute later a motor bike runs into you at full speed and a street kid tries to pick your wallet. Then, five minutes later, you're having one of the best meals of your life. An hour later, a taxi driver tries to charge you $200USD to travel 1 km. So, it's the usual ebb and flow of a mega-touristy area, one that is well worth seeing but also one where, as a Westerner, you get the "walking ATM" treatment (perhaps not as bad as Egypt, but still, if someone gives you directions, you're expected to tip them, which is sort of ridiculous, but I guess that's just how it goes!).

Be prepared for the heat if travelling in July, it is very hot. The medina is crazy busy with scooters zooming along the narrow alley ways from both directions, so it's almost impossible to walk side by side. Animals are used as money making machines, so be prepared for the snake charmers but also monkeys that are in metal collars on chains. Also the queues of horses pulling tourist carriages, standing out in hot sun and some of them hobbled - we didn't witness any water available for them. For an animal lover it is quite hard to see. On the upside, the architecture is amazing and Bahia Palace was beautiful. There are numerous restaurants and cafes around the main square, and it's not difficult to find a licenced restaurant if you just want a quick beer.

We only stayed for four days (three full days). My favourite place is the Majorelle Garden. It is not easy to get around Marrakech without taking cars. The pedestrians are not given priorities. It requires boldness to walk across against the car flow rather than waiting. No car will stop to give people a priority. I enjoy the hot air ballon experience which was amazing. I was told by a lady who came from a city in Morocco that Marrakech is the place in the entire Morocco for experiencing hot air ballon.

without doubt the most breathtakingly beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed. all of the facilities are 5 star. we booked the most basic room and even that was just pure luxury so I imagine the other rooms are even more amazing. the pool area is incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice. the staff were all so attentive and nothing was a problem. we loved it so much, just wish we could have stayed for longer! the area where the hotel in is so peaceful and quiet, with just the sound of bird song and cicadas. bliss.

Goodness me, where to start?! If anyone ever decides to visit Marrakesh should choose Riad Alizé! Exceptional service provided by wonderful staff. Soufiane, one of the guardians of the Riad is the most amazing host, alongside Abdel and Yousef. Delightful breakfast and lunch provided every day by the local cook, Fatima. These wonderful people made sure we are taken care of better than in a 5 star hotel, and that we have an authentic and memorable experience of Marrakesh.

Rooms are clean, breakfast was nice and tasty and location is fantastic. You can walk to either Gueliz, ExtraBlatt and other lounges and old city.
