The staff are beyond friendly and welcoming. The manager kindly helped us with anything we needed. Rooms are clean and spacious with a big terrace. There were two AC's in our room (living room and bedroom area) and both worked efficiently. The beds were comfy. The hotel is super conveniently located near old town. There's a shopping center on the other side the road so it is easy to go buy any groceries you might need.

Our family had 2 rooms for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay! The location couldn't be better. We loved having a balcony and hearing the church bells ring. It was also fun to people watch away from the crowds. And even though it's in a busy square (and we were there on a weekend) the windows really blocked the sound from below. The real plus, however, is the staff. Everyone we came in contact with was so nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was huge with so many offerings and the staff at breakfast were all lovely and ready to jump in and help at a moments notice. We enjoyed eating outside on the breakfast terrace. We would stay there again!

Each room is uniquely appointed with all amenities, very comfortable bed and linens. The sea views from the balcony rooms are incredible! I enjoyed having a coffee on the balcony in the mornings and listening to the music playing from below and hearing the birds chirping and I could stare at the views all day.
The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. Truly a 5-star experience!

The scenery and location are stunning.
The scenery and location are stunning. The old town is beautiful, like a film set and as we went late in the afternoon and evening it wasn't overrun by cruise ship tourists. The cable car is a must - it's brand new, was great value, incredible views and wasn't busy when we went. We stayed in the Dobrota suburb on the east side of the bay. It's along the main road which gets very congested and is not terribly picturesque as an area (although you only have to walk 5 mins down the hill to get to the waterside). If I went back I would stay on the west side of the bay which is much less developed, lovely old villages hugging the hillside along a very narrow road that is right next to the waterfront - passing other cars need to be done with care. You can easily cycle into the old town. Old Town Kotor has a mix of restaurants - most a bit 'meh', pizza and pasta and seafood best options. Can recommend Moments along the waterfront in Debrota.

The photos and videos of Kotor don’t do it justice.
The photos and videos of Kotor don’t do it justice. This beautiful town resonated with me …. Nature, history, amazing seascape, landscape all around. At the time of our visit, there were not many tourists yet which was a bonus.
I walked all around Kotor just filling my senses with its beauty.
The scent of bbq meats coming from Tanjga, which is where we ate while we were in Kotor, filled the air. Amazing place and can’t recommend it enough. Huge portions, perfectly grilled meats and excellent staff and owner.
Definitely a place worth visiting again but staying longer the next time.

Very nice place with a lot of options to travel around. Fantastic views. We take free guided tours of Kotor itself and boat tours to Blue Cave. Other days we were traveling around Kotor by car (up to 2 hours driving) and places were fantastic.

We liked wandering round the old city - I would plan to go different times of the day as it can get swamped by cruise ship tourists and tiktokers. There isn't that much to do and I get the impression that Kotor is still getting its head around tourism. However, you can go look at the walls, the churches, the stairs of Kotor (and the cheese shop halfway up), the abandoned village behind the cheese shop, the Cat Museum and the Gallery of Solidarity. If you like your food, there are plenty of places to eat.
One thing I will say: if you don't have a car you might struggle to get to places outside of taxi range but you can organise tours to other places if you can find someone to take you. We asked around and were told not to bother with anything within Kotor itself and go to the following: Perast, Herceg Novi, Orjen, Zabljak, Gusinje and Shkodra Lake.

You will love this fairytale setting. mountains come right to the Oceanside. The wall city is so charming and endlessly fascinating. The history is abundant and the scenery just keeps giving.
You do have to dodge the cruise ships. The town gets very, very busy because of them. Also, the food is kind of uniform and stodgy.
Risotto everywhere, and not that great. Pasta everywhere and not that great. Pizza everywhere and not that great.

Very social hostel, easy to meet people, right next to the beach, and they always have day and night activities going on, the volunteers are always amazing, and of course Djordje (f*ck you), and just a short walk from the old town
Easily the best hostel of my whole trip, this is the place to stay in Montenegro
Location was great - Very near a shopping center & also Kotor old town. The hosts are even better! Very very genuine, sincere and helpful! Will stay in this apartment again if we are going to Montenegro again. Strongly recommend to all!
Everything we needed was in the apartment and the view from the balcony was stunning. Close to the old town and the beach. Convenient parking place. The hostess was very helpful, she gave a lot of tips for staying in Montenegro and Kotor.
This was a fabulous find . We were blown away by the quality of furnishings in this boutique hotel in kotor old town . Staff were very friendly and breakfast was fantastic . Memorable place 😊
