Have stayed over at the Osborne on a number of occasions when visiting our daughter who lives in Gozo. It's very convenient to the main thoroughfare of Valletta and only an 8 min walk from the main city walls. On entering the Osborn you can see it's very clean with nice decor and has a lovely fragrance. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and dining room is spotless and comfortable with a large selection of breakfast options including fresh fruit, cereals, bread, pastries and cooked options. The rooms we have been in are spotlessly clean with nice clean modern bathrooms and walk in shower units. The beds are large and comfortable with clean crisp sheets and comfy pillows.

Location is fantastic , you are in the centre. The lady at the reception and also the lady at the breakfast were vey kind. I am celiac and they did not have nothing for me although I had informed the hotel about my food allergies. The lady apologised and gave me some bread and eggs.

Wonderful place, highly recommend! Great location close to lots of restaurants and bars. Beautiful rooms with extremely comfortable bed! The breakfast was a highlight for us - really delicious with lots of options. We found the local wines available to taste in the evenings a really nice addition. The rooftop terrace is stunning and has the best view of sunset. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return!

Beautiful property opened in late 2024 in a converted 18th century house. The location was good, close enough to many restaurants and bars but in a very quiet pedestrian street. We enjoyed the roof top pool and bar. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was great.

A good modernisation of an old block. Best air conditioning I’ve experienced in a long long time - controllable, good cooling it worked as we always wish it would. Both the host and the Housekeeper very responsive to comments and requests.

    Public transport is great to travel to other parts of the island. Loads of great bars and restaurants. Felt very safe at all times. A nice city if you are fit and able to walk up very steep hills. No nearby beaches. Half decent beaches are a bus or boat ride away and very crowded. Lots of plastic and debris in the sea (Golden Bay) and litter on the sand. Lots of very run down and derelict property. Too many cars allowed on very narrow city centre streets. Very steep hills and totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Little in the way of choice to buy fresh produce. You have to travel to buy fresh fish. Limited choice of meat in the 2 supermarkets but pricing was very fair. On reflection 4 days is enough for sightseeing. If you want a beach holiday, go to a different location.

    A beautiful city with lots to see.

    A beautiful city with lots to see. Highky recomement the National War Museum, The Grand Masters Palace, The National Museum of Archaeology, St John's Co-Catherdral, Manoel Theatre, Casa Rocca Piccoia. Eat in Valetta's waterfront we had the best pork ribs I've ever had at Browns Kitchen and if you want to push the boat out eat at Fifty Nine Republic on St George's Square opposite the Grand Masters Palace.

    A lovely island felt pretty safe there ,lots of lovely resturants took a trip to the three islands on one of the ferries which are really cheap .go on the hop on hop off buses it gives you more chance to see more of the island . If you like a Italian try the old Bakery very small but the pasta is to die for.

    There are a lot of interesting places to visit...and eat...but it has to be remembered the heat is draining and we had no pool ...but it was lovely to be able to travel across the bay on the little taxi boats and also the ferry to Gozo...a good tip is to buy hop on bus tickets when you pay for the ferry..as when you get off everyone is vieing for you to go on their bus but were already sorted !

    This is our third trip to Malta and we love it!

    This is our third trip to Malta and we love it! Valetta is glorious, so much to see, gardens, cathedral and beautiful architecture. Narrow streets are amazing and Marsaxlokk and Vittoriosa were beautiful. We also visited Mdina. Restaurant and bars were good and people so friendly. Can't recommend it highly enough!

    Apartment was conveniently close to the city centre, with good views over the harbour and out to sea, especially from the roof terrace. Clean and recently decorated. The bed was firm and comfy, kitchen sparsely equipped, but adequate. Lift wasn't mentioned in the details, but was a bonus being on the 4th floor. Roof terrace was a great space to use, although there was some building work in the area, that wasn't a problem.

    The hotel is ideally located for the centre of Valletta. The room is individually styled, you could even say ‘quirky’. Thankfully for us, there was no TV as all our time was spent exploring the many sites of interest in Malta.
