This is an excellent hotel! The staff are warm and welcoming. Very comfortable balcony room. Lovely pillows and bedding. The location is wonderful too. Walking distance to many sites of interest. An on site restaurant and a lovely Italian one too next door.

The location is exceptional. The lobby is quite a sight! The room was quite well decorated, with new appliances and over-average amount of welcome (free) snacks. The breakfast options are fair but most importantly the food quality and taste are excellent. The hallways outside the rooms are always kept tidy. The crown of this hotel definitely has to be their rooftop bar with a 360-degree view of Guadalajara. No stay can be complete without having a drink up there ;)

The standard was very good for the price. The room is very spacious, the design very updated, from the fixtures, bath design and appliances, storage. This is the type of hotel room that makes your stay more pleasant.

What a gem! Everyone was amazing, the room was large and stacked with amenities and comforts. The property was clean and parking was right in front of my room. The on site restaurant has a nice buffet breakfast.

Breakfast different kind of food

Professional Staff! for a difficult day in Jalisco. Wonderful how the Barceló hotel and staff reacted that day. We were in Guadalajara on the day of the disturbance and I would like to show our appreciation to the Hotel Staff. First need to clarify that the hotel was never in danger since it is located in a very quiet area that was never affected. The first thing they did was inform everyone of the situation in real time. They knew exactly which avenues were being blocked and what was the real situation. They were aware of problems close to the Airport and advice to stay in the hotel for security reasons. Most flights were canceled. The Staff always kept in mind the safety of all guests. Because of the situation no one went out and no one came in, the staff volunteer to stay at the hotel to make sure that everything worked properly, sleeping at the hotel with limited contact with their families. They worked three shifts without rest and ALWAYS in a good mood although the nervousness we all had was evident. The food became an issue, since it had much more demand than expected and it was impossible to deliver any supplies. They were very organized and were able to provide service to everyone. Felt protected all the time. It was certainly a very unusual situation, but they took care of all of us. To all the Staff, Thank you very much!!!!!! I know that, that was not Mexico, it was an extraordinary situation. but their response was very Mexican, extraordinary as always.

LOVED the location, staff was INCREDIBLE, beautiful old historic building (it was a little dark because of that), had a bar with a bartender who was like a concierge, Luis. He gave me all kind of great tips and suggestions. Jaime the General Manager was very kind and accommodating, the restaurant attached was actually quite good and reasonable prices. Rooms were very basic but functional.

Everything was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed. location, was perfect access to everything happening around down town GDL. We chose breakfast in our reservation, for we wouldn't have to worry about another meal so early before we started our day. A variety of options to choose from, not your traditional continental breakfast. Staff were all friendly, clean facility

the view form the room was fantastic. the room was vert clean and comfortable. then person assisting (ARTURO), was responsive and most communicative. I have already recommended the property to other people.

Super friendly staff, breakfast buffet and available resources at the hotel such as personal essential items you could have forgotten at home and snacks.

The ease of checking in, the rooms are comfortable and the hotel is very well located in the center. I stay here regularly and it is always a good experience
