I think there's already a lot of valid and good reviews on this hotel. The hotel is nice, clean, good rooms and bathroom. Easy, fast and friendly check in and nice rooftop pool. All at a very fair price. It's around the corner of the beach and exactly at a lively bar/restaurant street <see below>

Ventus Ha at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive has an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Puerto Morelos.

Nice, secluded location, surrounded by wetlands with lots of wild nature. In many places around the resort you can find plates with the pictures and names of animals you may come across. On the opposite side of the road are the older hotels belonging to the Ventus resort, what includes number of restaurants, bars, swimming pools and the beach. Very nice little town - Puerto Morelos along with a nice public beach is located a few minutes of drive from the resort (the beach of the nearby Ventus resorts has been affected by some storms and lacks a bit of charm... and sand).

The check-in process was very slow but once sorted it was all fine.

I recently stayed at Kabanas Ojo de Agua to celebrate my birthday, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience! Coming from Quebec, Canada, I was looking for a peaceful getaway, and this brand-new hotel exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was phenomenal – the staff made sure I felt welcome and took care of every need. The service was top-notch, always friendly and attentive. The food at the restaurant was delightful – each meal was fresh and full of flavor. The palapas were beautiful and added a perfect touch to the overall ambiance. I can’t wait to come back in the summer! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The most relaxing stay of my travels in the unique surroundings of the jungle outside Puerto Morelos. I had a free upgrade to a 2 room chalet with air conditioning, hot shower and a nice balcony to sit on. The pool and the welcome helped to make this a great way to finish my travels in Mexico.

    Very nice little town not too overcrouded of tourists. Enough restaurants and bars, frendly Mexicanos. I did try a few retaurants and encountered "mama mia" take away, few tables on site a kind of pizza with shrimps : fantastic and I a "gourmet"

    Nice town with a white sand beach great for snorkelling and swimming. If you want to take a boat for snorkelling they supply all equipment and take you towards the reef, very easy to organise at the time, inexpensive too. You can lay free at the beach and swim all day with no hassles.

    Puerto Morelos is a charming and quaint town that offers a perfect relaxing getaway. The laid-back vibe makes it a refreshing alternative to the more crowded and touristy spots like Tulum and Playa del Carmen. There are plenty of nice restaurants to explore, serving delicious local cuisine and fresh seafood. It's a great place to unwind, whether you're enjoying the beach or strolling through the town. The peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for a long weekend retreat. If you're looking for a relaxing escape without the party scene, Puerto Morelos is the place to be!

    double edged sword if more people know about PM, the more crowded it will be... It is still a beautiful little town growing fast due to the influx of retirees moving there. Port side is still lovely but change is inevitable.

    La Quinta Orquidea Hotel is a very special place with a unique and extraordinary architecture, perfect located, just a few walking minutes away from Puerto Morelos beach and surrounded with a lot of different restaurants and a great supermarket. The entire staff is amazing friendly and helpful and they have treated me like a family member. I enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely stay there again when I’ll be back in Puerto Morelos.

    Amazing little gem right in the middle of the beach side of Puerto Morelos. Loads of food in easy walking distance, only a couple blocks from the beach, grocery store, massage places, dive shops and basically everything else. Block from main square/taxi stand/collectivo pickup. Small complete apartment with full kitchen, hot shower with good pressure, A/C, and furniture. Cute little gated outdoor area as well.

    The position is tight on the beach which is very beautiful. If you stay here you get free sun beds but be sure to reserve the day before, otherwise they all get booked out! The cafe & restaurant serves all day. The food is quite good but we didn’t have dinner there as there are good places to eat nearby.

    Located directly on the beach, far away from all hotels and rush! The room is very simple, the bed would use a new matrace and it's not completely easy to reach but we enjoyed the sound of waves when falling asleep and waking up! The host is super friendly and we liked the well equipted kitchen!

    It is in a great location if you like quiet and it’s on the beach where you can see beautiful sunrise. Breakfast was super, especially liked the oppurtunity to make your own egges the way you liked.
