This place is A1, 5 stars, and every other superlative one can think of. Clean, bright, and shiny facilities. Not over-the-top with silly touches, just very solid and very comfortable. From the friendly in-person greeting from Bianca, to the precise and concise tutorial on the details, this place is in the top 1% of accommodations we've found in our travels. Great location for visiting the national park, easy walk to dinner and good Spar grocery.

If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable place in the forest, this is it. I knew to bring my own groceries and toiletries, but the little touches like the throw blankets in the living room and the modern decor made this huisje feel like a real home away from home. Coby (the host) also deserves a special shoutout for taking an interest in guests as people. Outside of the general info about the huisje and surrounding areas, we had a personable back and forth that I really appreciated as a guest.

The host is really friendly and helpful, and the place is spotless and extremely well maintained. And because it's tucked back into the woods, it's also quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the proximity to the Veluwe park entrance in Otterlo (10-min bike ride) and to the #108 bus stop (5 minutes by bike) because we traveled there from Amsterdam by train and bus, and then to the vacation house via OV fiets (you can pick one up across from the bus stop).
