We liked the lunch we had on our first day and the beverage selections were nice. Breakfast was delightful and very relaxing. We enjoyed walking each day and imagine the grounds are absolutely beautiful in the flowering seasons. It was a nice walk along the river and walk into the lovely town. It was great that the bus stop was close on the days we used it.

We were nine cyclists staying for one night as part of a longer trip. It was raining very heavily when we reached the hotel and we arrived before our check in time. The hotel was hosting a large lunchtime party, but staff were very understanding and extremely helpful, and gave us immediate access to our rooms in order that we could change and explore the village to find some late lunch. There were also secure places to leave our bikes. The rooms were individually furnished, were immaculately clean and we all spent a very comfortable night. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The restaurant manager was extremely hospitable, friendly and great fun and the food and drinks were all delicious too. Breakfast in the morning was very good. It was well laid out in a large dining area. Looking back on our three week adventure, we all agreed that this was the best hotel we stayed in. Good value for money too.

Very nice classic hotel right next to Ouwehands Zoo. Free public parking spaces right in front of the hotel. Room was a bit small bit was ok. Staff were also nice. Ideal location when visiting the zoo. Very comfortable beds. Perhaps one of the best bed we ever had.

Had a nice dinner in the cozy restaurant, the breakfast was extensive and delicious. The hotel in general was clean and had a pleasant appearance. The location was perfect in both a rural and a wooded environment, ideal for cycling and walking tours.
