Strategic location for Rotterdam. It's clean, cofortable and well designed. If you like concept hotels this is cool! Some rooms are quite small, but I like the option to choose the location of the room during check-in (and nice option to do it on a tablet, eventually with a smart support by the hotel team).

    Don't go!

Don't go! Cleaning staff steal personal items and rummage through luggage! During my stay, I suffered a theft by the cleaning staff. One of the days of my stay, they came to clean my room and they stole my perfume, which was locked inside my suitcase. People who clean rooms go through people's belongings, unbelievable. I am angry about the gesture, not so much about what was stolen. The perfume was cheap. However, having reported this fact to the facility, nothing was done. Be careful!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Rotterdam, but wow—it’s such a cool place. Super modern, full of creative energy, and it feels totally different from other cities in the Netherlands. There’s this mix of edgy architecture, street art, and laid-back river views that just works. 🚲 Getting around was a breeze. Public transport was smooth, but honestly, I walked and biked most places and loved it. Everything feels easy to get to. 🏙 Highlights? Definitely the Cube Houses—they’re wild—and the Markthal, where you can grab food and just people-watch. The Erasmus Bridge looks amazing lit up at night, and the views from the top of the Euromast are seriously worth it. 🍕 The food scene is awesome—there’s something for everyone. I had Dutch snacks one minute, then spicy Indonesian food the next. So many chill cafes too. 🎶 Nights are fun without being hectic. Think cozy bars, live music, a bit of dancing if you’re in the mood. It’s got character without trying too hard. All in all, Rotterdam surprised me in the best way. It’s got this creative, easygoing energy that makes you want to stay a little longer. Would totally go back.

Rotterdam is an interesting and intriguing city. Lots of history along with modern architecture. Wonderfully nice people, most of whom speak English. Great food and shopping. The street market is large and offers anything you could want. The Trompenberg Botanical Gardens are a short transit trip from the city center and totally worth a visit. It’s a very walkable city and bicycles are used by many people too. If you like cities then Rotterdam is a place to visit!

Much of the architecture is stunning, both old and mostly modern with a mass of public art and statues. The new FENIX museum was enlightening and very good value. A great ride on the Spido boat. Shopping is fantastic and there are a huge range of places to eat. Links from the city to the Hague and Amsterdam are excellent. Stay alert for the trams and bikes as it's very easy to be distracted as a newcomer to the Netherlands!

The city is in a very big construction work atm, thus some places and streets are less accessible and noisy. The vibe did changed to a more sterile environment, and we all know, the surrounding reflects the people. So the changes in Rotterdam are to big compared to the 18 years I lived in and then 5 years of visiting...

Our stay in Rotterdam accidentally coincided with Kings Day (27 April) and we really appreciated the hotel's location on a quiet side street - the city was having one gigantic, very noisy party and we had a nice place to go to escape from it! The bed was huge and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and smart. All of the members of staff were friendly and helpful. We did not opt for breakfast, which was not in our bit of the hotel anyway, but there were some very good cafes not far away serving eggs, pancakes etc.

Absolutely beautiful rooms with loads of space. We used Rotterdam as our base to explore other parts of the southern Netherlands and the ability to pop some food in the fridge for late returns, and sit and relax on the sofa, was extremely useful. An absolutely fantastic location as well! It took us about 25 minutes to walk from the central station, but the hotel was close to some great restaurants and any shopping we needed.

Great position for us, very easy to get to and back from the Ahoy arena. Easy to get into Rotterdam centre too. The hotel is quirky which we love. The little self service shop was great for when we got home late. The room was lovely and big, the bed was comfy. The food hall attached to the hotel was amazing too!. Parking was easy under the hotel. The area around the hotel was much quieter than the centre which we liked too.
