Location - great location. Easy to get to from Rotterdam Centraal using the tram or a 20-25 minute walk (I did this with my heavy suitcase). There are many restaurants and bars on the same street as the hotel and the Markthal is only about 15 min walk away. Facilities - the bed was comfortable (I had the lower capsule). The room and bathroom were clean. They offer Rituals shower products for use in the shower and they provide robes. Their policy is that you have to use a slipper in the bathrooms so either pack one or buy from them. There's even a full length mirror in the capsule which is very useful for getting ready. The staff is friendly and helpful - they can give recommendations on where to go for a night out.

Super modern, comfortable and clean hotel with a nice bar en restaurant. The team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, I really appreciate it they’re all so kind! The location is great, just a 4 min walk to the depot and a few more to the lively witte de with. We ordered roomservice, was delicious and quick. I would definitely stay here again :)

The hotel is right in the city center and surrounded by beautiful buildings, churches, restaurants, etc. It is simple to get to and from the central station. Also Markthal is very close and there is possible to find a lot of shops and places to eat. Just across the canal there is surfing area, WTC and shopping centers. More important is that the staff of hotel was very friendly and kind, also very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I like how they take care of environment and nature by giving options for cleaning a room. It was very pleasant stay and I will be back in October again.

I love Rotterdam, I was here first at the age of 14, so this romantic getaway was sortof a nostalgia trip for me. I love the cleanliness, the canals, the ducks and the coots, the lack of cars, the great food, and the absolutely amazing modern architecture, some buildings left me with my jaw dropped. My boyfriend really enjoyed it too, although he said he preferred Amsterdam, because Rotterdam is "too commercialised". I admit that we bumped into high fashion shops on every corner, but as a woman I won't complain about that. I loved shopping for perfumes in De Bijenkorf. In my opinion Rotterdam is the perfect city to stay in if you're visiting The Netherlands, unless you are wealthy and can afford Amsterdam hotels. Rotterdam is a great alternative, and an amazing city to visit in general

Lovely city Central area walkable to most sights we wanted to see. Very unusual and interesting architecture and city layout. Delfshaven old area Lovely on a peaceful afternoon in the sun. Metro easy to negotiate. Lots of very decent bars, cafes and restaurants. Loved the Markthal again so different and the Urban Surfing. Will definitely recommend a trip to Rotterdam to my friends.

Lovely place with great architecture, lots of cool places to eat, and lots to go and see and do. Actually much nicer than the more famous Amsterdam, with more of a big city feel and variety of neighbourhoods and activities. Central areas feel clean and spacious without being sterile. Close enough to Belgium for great beer. Great transport links externally and really good public transport within the city. Lots of cool waterfront/river-y stuff going on; in a sense feels a bit like a riverine version of Liverpool. Honestly I wasn't sure that Rotterdam was going to be interesting enough to be worth half a holiday, and had initially felt more drawn to Brussels, Bruges, Ghent, or Antwerp as the place on the way to/from Amsterdam, but I am really pleased to have chosen Rotterdam and will probably be going back again.

Stayed 3 days and wished we had planned for more.

Stayed 3 days and wished we had planned for more. The city's buildings are an architectural playground. There are so many one-of-a-kind, innovative designs to see. It seems like there is an hour-long video on YouTube and Discovery for each one. Car not required. Trolleys, trams, water taxis, bicycles, and a very walkable town.

I have never heard that Rotterdam has amazing architecture.

I have never heard that Rotterdam has amazing architecture. It is modern and inventive. Definitely worth a visit. We liked food too and also atmosphere of the city. Maybe it was due to the Africain festival which too place on the day of our visit. Streets were full of happy free people. We took a boat trip and this is perhaps the best way to see the great architectural creations. To sumarize, Rotterdam was an incredible discovery!

Perfect for a long weekend with no fly, as we came by ferry from Hull to Rotterdam so treated that both ways as mini cruise. Took a taxi to the hotel which was rip of at 25 Euros: use the frequent metro instead. Loved the eclectic architecture while out exploring (10 mins from our hotel to famous Cube Houses & Markt Hallfor example) and very easy to do on foot: both distances and no hills. Must sees are Oude Haven (recommend Kade 4 for both food, service and view), Delfs Haven and Boijmans Depot which is an amazing museum both for how it looks, the collections and the superb view from the roof garden. Most of all the Rotterdamers are super friendly & helpful. If you have time Metro Line 5 goes to The Hague in only 35 minutes from Centraal Station.

This is a great hotel in a nice part of Rotterdam. Close enough to centrum to access things to do but far away enough for more peace and a neighborhood feel. There are some awesome bakeries and cafes in the area which we made sure to visit. I liked that they made it easy to replenish your own towels, toiletries, and other amenities. My favorite part was the rain shower which had great pressure. Would definitely recommend it for a quick trip to the city!
