We really were overall pleased with our stay at the Moxy. It was clearly designed for younger generation in mind but great for us older parents too. It was centrally located to the city of Utrecht and easy to take the tram or bus to the train station. Staff was helpful and we liked the modern "vibe" of the lounge area of the hotel. Hotel room was SUPER clean and a good breakfast. We will definitely return We liked the view of the canal from our room window too!

Is perfectly located in the middle of the city centre, everything is close. The instructions to arrive late were clear. The rooms are huge, super clean and comfortable. Wifi is fast. The staff was super helpful. Breakfast is massive and delicious. The building is amazing, it's an old house with lots of nice decorations.

For us Utrecht was a huge surprise.

For us Utrecht was a huge surprise. We decided to visit on a whim and were not disappointed. Having our hotel in the center of the city just around the corner from the canal, and restaurants, and and and was terriffic. We took a canal tour that was wonderful and finished off the evening with a great dinner. The entire trip could not have gone better.

Centre is beautiful and easy to reach from suburbs by public transport. The Waterlines museum just outside city is well worth visiting, well worth the modest ticket price. As a place to stay, Utrecht is also great for visiting Amsterdam and Leiden by train.

Stretch is Great if you love a beautiful town that is like a...

Stretch is Great if you love a beautiful town that is like a small Amsterdam. You need to know there are something like 40,000 college students all riding bicycles everywhere. it gives the town a vibrancy, these students are loving life, they all look happy and wholesome. the city is great if you like that sort of thing. We loved it but probably for 3-5 days. after that it could feel hectic. the canals are beautiful the food was great, it's a great city to walk in and the train station is amazing. we would go back.

Nice city center, easy bike rental, beautiful channels and good food, nice parcs, very beautiful castels that you can visit is you are not afraid of 45 min ride. Very lively city full of students and people on vacations.

We were there for the Oude Muziek Festival - the old centre is perfect for that: locations are excellent (mostly churches in the old centre). The Tivoli Vredenberg is a bit of a nightmare to navigate and not great for early music ... but I gather it's good for other genres. Small warning - very, very few restaurants take new customers after 9.30 so supper after a concert is a non-starter. Walking and cycling are the main transportations in the old centre - buses etc tend to have routes on the ring road. City is well connected to the rest of the Netherlands by train

Utrecht is a really beautiful large town.

Utrecht is a really beautiful large town. Easy to get to from Amsterdam. The mall and shopping is huge if that’s your thing. I prefer the old part along the canal and if you explore a little further out along the canal, you will find some great coffee shops and bakeries which are considerably cheaper and tastier than the chains near the shopping centre.

Very handy location inside a shopping centre and very close to the city centre and the train station. good silent rooms, good shower, comfortable beds. Great place for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast is also good and the internet connection speed is very decent. There is also a lobby area (where breakfast is served) with an opportunity to sit and work or chat with friends (you can buy snack and drinks from the hotel but with two supermarkets inside the shopping centre you would be better off buying outside and bringing it back).

Excellent location, a stone's throw from Utrecht Centraal and the old city centre. The room was spacious enough for two people and had all the needed facilities. Comfy beds. Coffee machine and tea + Earth water provided. Cool interior design. The staff at reception was friendly and professional, even in the middle of the night. At just below 60€ pp per night this was one of the best hotel stays either of us has ever had, and we will definitely be back the next time we visit Utrecht.

we were in the suite, which had the original rustic beams, but with all the "modern" amenities. Attention to detail with interesting "found" objects within the decor and care for sustainable living. Bed was very comfortable and room mostly quiet. Utrecht is a great city to explore. Mother Goose is a unique and pleasant hotel.
