We really were overall pleased with our stay at the Moxy. It was clearly designed for younger generation in mind but great for us older parents too. It was centrally located to the city of Utrecht and easy to take the tram or bus to the train station. Staff was helpful and we liked the modern "vibe" of the lounge area of the hotel. Hotel room was SUPER clean and a good breakfast. We will definitely return We liked the view of the canal from our room window too!

Is perfectly located in the middle of the city centre, everything is close. The instructions to arrive late were clear. The rooms are huge, super clean and comfortable. Wifi is fast. The staff was super helpful. Breakfast is massive and delicious. The building is amazing, it's an old house with lots of nice decorations.

Utrecht is a really beautiful large town.

Utrecht is a really beautiful large town. Easy to get to from Amsterdam. The mall and shopping is huge if that’s your thing. I prefer the old part along the canal and if you explore a little further out along the canal, you will find some great coffee shops and bakeries which are considerably cheaper and tastier than the chains near the shopping centre.

Cathedral and churches were awesome!!

Cathedral and churches were awesome!! There was a concert at the Cathedral the afternoon we were there, and the docents were super great and knowledgeable! We liked being out of Amsterdam but close to get there by train. Great side trip from Amsterdam!!

Just walking the streets and soaking up the atmosphere. rent a canoe and paddle around. rent a bike from republic dutch just up the canal from the property and cycle around, it's all just lovely. A real hidden gem of a European city.

Absolutely picturesque town.

Absolutely picturesque town. So many options for delicious food and shopping. Gorgeous historic gardens tucked away near the Cathedral. Not too crowded for a summer weekend but always lively. Several options to explore the waterways (kayak, paddle boat, guided boat tour). Favourite Netherlands location I have thus far experienced.

We loved Utrecht.

We loved Utrecht. It had all the charm of Amsterdam without all of the chaos. Typically we would spend a day in Amsterdam and the next day in Utrecht. We enjoyed our days in Utrecht a bid more. Utrecht is only about 35 minutes from Amsterdam the trains are frequent without having to change. Utrecht is full of charming places to dine or grab a cold beverage. The canal system is not quite as extensive but our hour long tour was perfect.

I love Utrecht, such a pretty city with loads to offer. It's something of a rabbit warren where you'll discover more and more as you explore. It's also a great place to stay as a base if you want to explore NL as it's practically in the middle of everything.

This is an excellent hotel with large and airy rooms that have very comfortable beds and everything else one might need (nice and large bathroom with rain shower, electric kettle, airconditioning, fast WiFi). It is a few minutes away from the Utrecht central rail station and a large shopping Centre and restaurants right outside the station. One can easily walk to the centre of Utrecht in approximately 15 minutes, where there are many nice restaurants along the canals. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

A very unique (former church with an organ in the restaurant area), cosy, smart and sustainable hotel. For our one-night stay, a small room with a roofwindow was ideal. Stuff was super nice and friendly. Although the breakfast is not the usual buffet, a few choices from the seasonal menu were quite sufficient. The hotel is very close to the train station and the city centre. Everything is within walking distance. A handwritten, personalised card for a good stay was an unexpected but very nice touch.

Mother Goose is located in the very center of Utrecht, 10 minutes walk from Utrecht Centraal, surrounded by bars and restaurants - and still nicely quiet. We've got a room upgrade - last floor, with nice view on Utrecht's roofs and towers. The room was spacious, with thought over details and some surprises (very stylish washbasin in the room, not in the bathroom :-) ), and the bed was super-comfy! Dutch-style stairs in the hotel look impressive! But there is a lift, so no worries.

Very nice modern hotel with ideal location minutes walk from Utrecht Centraal, with entrance inside the shopping mall. Short walk from the canals and city center, with good access to all possible eateries and shopping. Very good breakfast. Just 25 minutes by train from Amsterdam Centraal. Great base for exploring both Amsterdam and Utrecht, highly recommended.
