The rooms were spacious and basic equipped with all the necessary. The location of the hotel was convenient and a short walking distance to Zandaam station and eateries. There is a supermarket very near the hotel which was a big bonus!

I just needed a place to crash for one night. The hotel was perfect for the purpose. A huge bed! A nice shower with rain. The bathroom was good in general.

A nice area, clean and well kept. Easy transport links into the city and to other nearby towns.
Enjoyed a visit to the windmill area, which was a cultural experience, lots to do.
Found eating a task, only because we wanted more traditional, national food, which we found hard to come by.

The Russian Tzar House is a must visit.
The Russian Tzar House is a must visit. It is the oldest house in Netherlands, preserved in very good conditions. You will learn a lot. The Zaan Museum also. The Zaanse Schans it is for one whole day or two days visit. A lot of museums. It is very nice. And if it is good wind you are going to smell only chocolate in the air. The bakery just in front of the bridge is having the most delicious patisserie. The restaurants around have great food, nice personnel.

There's a lovely canal with shops & restaurants on either side. You have a choice of fast food, healthier options or traditional Dutch dishes. The area is quiet at night, when the day trippers have left. It's a pretty town with interesting architectural styles. It was my first visit & I will be back. It's easy to travel by train to Amsterdam & other destinations & trains are fairly frequent. My hotel was within easy walking distance of the station & the shops mentioned above. The Albert Heijn supermarket is open 7 days a week until 10pm.
I stayed for 6 nights with my family of 2 kids. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full equipped kitchen, living room with TV and audio. Demian and Agata live next door, easy to get connected in case needed. My kids are big fan of the cottage. Location wise is very good, 2 stops away from Amsterdam Centraal by Intercity or Sprinter. Zaandam itself is a very good neighbourhood to bring kids. Close to Dekamart, Albert Heijn and Zaandam city center. Our stay in Holland has been memorable!
Location is in the center, nearby to Zaandam station so it was easy to go around. The room is clean, small but it’s fine. Has a great view in the window, you see half of the zaanzam area😊. It’s also near to the super market albert heijn. Has a plug-in near the bed, so convenient while charging and using the phone. Lightning in the room was great as well so it was a good stay.
Cleanliness, comfortable bed, good heating system and really hot water in the shower.
Zaandam is also a very special and beautiful part of Amsterdam area. Zaan Hotel is very close to the train station (15 min by train to Amsterdam Central), has numerous grocery shops, restaurants nearby and is walking distance to the Zaandam shopping area.
Walkable distance to Zaandam station. So the commute to Amsterdam central was super easy and efficient. The rooms were super nice and big. We got the rooms in the new block of the hotel. So everything was quite modern and neat. Comfy sofa and beds and clean toilets! Pretty good choice to stay and walkable to zaandam train station:
This is an excellent hotel. Beautifully decorated, clean and modern, well-located (short pleasant walk from Zaandam station). Managers are super kind to not just customers but also their own staff which is always good to see. Good breakfast selection too. This is our top choice when visiting Amsterdam
The hotel itself is located in the perfect place - just 5 minutes by walk to Zaandam train station. Also, you can get pretty much everything in a grocery store almost across the street. The rooms were quite comfy (despite some issues I mentioned below), personnel was always supportive and smiling.
The staff was very kind and professional. The location was awesome. There were a lot of bars and restaurants nearby that we could walk to. The train station was our main use of transportation and it helped that it was close to the hotel especially after a long day of walking.
Much cheaper alternative than staying in Amsterdam, Zaandam is quite a nice town and only 2 stops on the train from central Amsterdam. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. Hotel is next to some nice cafes and restaurants and a nice shopping centre.
I liked everything. Metro was very close to the hotel, easy transfer to Amsterdam Central.
The young Lady at the reception, i think her name is Noha if i remember correctly, she was really helpful, i wish every hotel had staff like her.
Basic and functional hotel located on the outskirts of Zaandam. Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend for a weekend break and had no major problems. Hotel and Room were both VERY clean and had plentiful parking.
Zaandam is a lovely, quiet neighborhood, family friendly. Close to Amsterdam by train and to Zaanse Sachs to see the windmills.
We could leave our bags at the hotel, after checkout, with no additional charge.
Very friendly staff always ready t help. A new hotel with good decoration.
In 12 minutes by train you could reach Amsterdam Central Station.
Zaandam is a very friendly village with a lot of restaurants.
The hotel is very clean, our receptionists in the lobby are very friendly and nice. We also got an upgrade which is great. I definitely want to stay again in this hotel, and highly recommend it.
The property was very modern. Digital do not disturb and room clean status. Easy walk to train station. A grocery store right across hotel. Our room was big, spacious. Nice shower.
Close to the train station and near stores and restaurants. Walkable location. Price was better than hotels nearby. We got our wake up call within 5 minutes of the time requested.
Clean room and nice reception staff. Easy check-out process. Bus stop 2 mins away from the hotel - just across the street. Decent price compared to other options
