Very clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms were comfortable with high ceilings and soft duvets and pillows. Gym was small but great. Up to 40kg dumbbells allowed for a solid workout.

This apartment-hotel is in the "old town" part of Drammen, more charming and more restaurants compared to the other side of the river (based on my observation and the comments from my colleagues who were staying in hotels on the other side of the river). The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Espresso machine worked well - more capsules available at the supermarket across the road. Bathroom well stocked with hand wash and lotion, shampoo/body wash and conditioner. Loved having the washing machine - there was a drying rack and things dried quickly overnight. Bed was very comfy and so was the couch in the living room. Easy to cast from your phone to the TV for apps like Youtube and I believe there was also Netflix. Lovely view of the Bragernes church tower from the window (I was on the top floor). Elin provided quick assistance when asked via the Bookings.com app. Easy to get into the building with the app (download Upkey before your stay....instructions to do this came while I was travelling and it was difficult to download on the move) or a provided keycard and into the apartment with a short number. Short walk over the bridge to the train station - note there is an elevator on the train station side but you have to look for it behind the staircase, and no stairs on the hotel side of the river. Wifi worked very well, in fact better than the office I was working at during the week. Coworker had an even nicer room across the hall from me.

Spiralen is a must, even if you need a taxi - great views...

Spiralen is a must, even if you need a taxi - great views from the top after a drive through a feat of engineering. Walks along the river are very pleasant and a couple of museums are worth visiting, especially on Saturday when they are free entry ! Excellent transport links to other parts of South East Norway and Oslo

Nice atmosphere in the hotel lobby and breakfast is served there. Hotel rooms ok, no complaints at all. Breakfast was ok and even I went there during peak hours it was easy to find space to eat. Good walking distance to city center.

The shower was really good and the apartment was very clean in general. The location was excellent being within 2 minutes walk of both the rail and bus stations. "Cheaper" supermarkets within a minute's walk too.

It was a very comfy stay, perfect for what we needed. They were able to provide a baby cot, and there was a kitchen so we could make dinner and breakfast right there. It was very cozy and close to Drammen!
