Amazing breakfast with a lot of different options in the buffet. Location is just next door to one of Oslo`s biggest shopping centers. Not to far off a walk (5 min) to the metro for quick access to downtown. Also not to far from the river Akerselva, which you can follow downstream for a scenic tour of Oslo.

The hotel is located at a central location close to Aker Brygge with walking distance to the waterside. Check in was easy, you'll need to unlock the doors with your phone. The room was clean and well decorated, and well equipped. We got a nice view of the greenery across the road. The bathroom was very spacious. We'd recommend this hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Oslo

Into the Wild in Oslo

Spreading for hundreds of miles from the mouth of the Oslofjord, Oslo is the largest city by area in Europe and is liberally covered in pristine forests rising up into the outlying hills. South of the unassuming city hall lies a vibrant waterfront known as Aker Brygge, which in summer is full of bustling outdoor restaurants and bars.

For the prettiest buildings head to affluent inner-city suburbs of Frogner and Fagerborg, or admire the traditional Scandinavian wooden houses of Bygdøy and Holmenkollen. Monumental buildings include the Royal Palace which runs daily tours and the Akershus Festning, which is a medieval castle that also served as a military base and provides impressive views of the Oslofjord. Oslo City Hall, or rådhus, offers even more distinctive architecture and it is the location of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.

Nature is never far away in Oslo which is ringed by an archipelago of islands which are extremely popular in summer. Hiking, kayaking and sailing are all easily achievable within the city limits. Just as popular are the many museums. The national Museum houses Edvard Munch’s famous painting The Scream and Viking Ship Museum containing long-lost relics from Norway’s Viking past.

From downtown Sentrum to the Oslo Airport Gardermoen to the stunning statues in Frogner Park, Booking.com has over 80 hotels and other accommodations available.

What Guests Said About Oslo:

Oslo is a clean well run modern city.

Oslo is a clean well run modern city. We loved the diverseness of the city with the modern and old architecture. We were completely spoilt with the weather we had so we’re able to enjoy all the out door activities walking from one end of the city to the next admiring all the parks with fountains and sculptures along the way stumbling across some gems. If you have time take the electric ferry to the Oslo islands. So pretty.

Art in marvelous museums revealed a wealth of Norwegian...

Art in marvelous museums revealed a wealth of Norwegian artists, including Munch, who were unknown to me and who, indeed, are little known in the West. Plus, Oslo's public (free) art, especially sculptures, are everywhere and so much fun to come upon, some in the most unlikely places. The trams and buses are easy to negotiate and great help is provided by the Tourist Office in the station square. Most Norwegians speak excellent English.

One of the best modern capitals I have visited. Incredible architecture and city planning. Combines contemporary with traditional aspects. Great transportation. Excellent city vibes, quite lively, nice atmosphere, nice people. Unique fjord type setup, great nature. Amazing museums, such as the Fram, Kon Ticky, Ski museum, Munch.

Lovely, clean city with lots to do.

Lovely, clean city with lots to do. We were lucky that we had sun the whole time, so enjoyed sunny boat trip and swimming in the Fjord. Food is expensive, so we enjoyed picnics by the water, with food we bought in the supermarkets.

Everything we wanted was accessible by foot. Clean friendly city with good range of arty modern vibe and history. We loved the bakeries and Olivia’s as well as the more casual food hall at Vippa. Enjoyed the electric boat cruise along the Oslofjord.

The location is about a 20-30 min walk from the centre, but we knew this and we booked this on purpose, as I had read that Oslo city centre can be quite noisy in the evenings especially at the weekends and as our trip was over a Thursday / Friday / Saturday night stay, this is the reason we opted for this hotel. If you don't want to walk, there is a very good tram system to use to get around. The hotel was good, had a nice boutique feel to it and the breakfast was excellent with a large selection of very good quality items!
