Breakfast was very good -great selection. As Norway is in the midst of a strike in the hospitality industry, it was not really felt by us in the hotel -the staff was very helpful and friendly

Panorama Vardø is the perfect place to stay when you visit Vardø! It has the best location in town! From the very comfortable and spacious apartment you look right onto the Barents Sea and the bird island Hornøya! It's spectacular! The apartment itself is beautiful and well equipped. Very interesting town. Excellent exhibition at the fort.

Very interesting town. Excellent exhibition at the fort. Lovely walk to and from the dragon sculpture (up along one coastline and back along the other). The exhibitions at Vardø museum were small and not very informative although the photos of historic Vardø (people and street life) were wonderful.

Definitely take the opportunity to go to the end of the island and explore the old WWII bunkers. Whale sightings were plentiful from the shore. Also, rent a car and take the drive to Hamningberg. Short 45 drive to the town, but stunning landscapes and views. You wont be disappointed!

The farthest Eastern place in Norway.

The farthest Eastern place in Norway. I visited it in Winter, few days after the first sunrise this year. Sunrises over Barents see are magnificent! Lots of places to wander nearby. Fantastic opens paces. Calm and silent. The road to Vardo is epic. On the coast, there is a XVII Century Witch Hunt Memorial which is worthy to see. As the town is not too big, it is a great place to hunt for Northern Lights too!

Meieriet in Vardø was once again a fine experience. Nice big room with private bath, fridge in the room and good beds and seating. Jonny and Dawn are very friendly and accommodating, creating a cozy atmosphere in the restaurant, where breakfast and a few, well-prepared dinner dishes are served. We enjoyed the stay and hope to come back soon.

Two bedroom apartment is very spacious, full equipment in the kitchen, good location, very good bed, matress is not too soft. The only thing - remeber to take your own amenities for bathroom - shower gel and shampoo. Overall - Highly recommended - I think this is the best option for stay in Vardø.

The location was excellent, the property was well equipped, exceeding expectations. The kitchen is superbly equipped as well. Can recommend for short or extended stays in Vardø. We were a family of 4. The sofa opens to a 2 person bed and the bedroom houses 2 persons as well.
