Our stay at Stoneridge was little short of ideal! The grounds were simply stunning - you take a steep drive up to the resort, passing by vineyards and rose bushes. The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!

A very scenic town, loads of great restaurants and plenty to do. The Thunderboats were awesome. Everyone is so friendly and relaxed. Loved swiming in lake Wakatipu - it was freezing but such beautiful fresh water. We walked everywhere, no need for a car which was great.

Queenstown is amazing!

Queenstown is amazing! Our family of 5 stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer! There is so much to see & do! Highlights for our family of 5 were the AJ Hackett Bungy Centre with our 15yo going bungy jumping & others doing the Zipline. The Shotover JetBoat was brilliant & the Skyline Gondola and Luge were a massive hit with all of us! Arrowtown was beautiful! As was Glenorchy. Lunch at Fergburger was a hit! A day trip to Milford Sound is highly recommended. Oh and don’t forget the spectacular scenery!

Queenstown was a perfect destination for our family holiday with our adult children We did so many activities together and everyone’s interests and preferences were well and truly catered for We will definitely return, perhaps in winter next time as we imagine it would be equally as beautiful with a different feel - lots of cosy pubs and coffee shops to explore after winter outdoor activities

Queenstown truly stole my heart.

Queenstown truly stole my heart. The scenery is breathtaking in every direction, the food is delicious, the wine is excellent, and the ice cream is simply irresistible! Whether strolling by the lake or enjoying a relaxed meal, everything feels just right. It’s one of those places you fall in love with easily—and once you’ve been, you can’t help but want to come back again and again.

Friendly reception staff. Smooth check-in and check-out. Easy and cheap self-parking available just across the road of our apartment (park at double tree @ NZD 16/per day). Good size apartment with full facility including laundry. Love the view and environment around the hotel. Excellent spots to take photos when you walk along the lake side. Swimming facility is good, they also have a small gym available. Good complementary breakfast, you can enjoy the lake view when you have your breakfast.

The staffmembers are all verry kind and helpfull. They do everything to make your stay as pleasant and comfortabele as possible. Inside is a bowling club. The hotel is only 6 km from the centre of Queenstown. A bus stops in front of the hotel and brings you to Queenstown. This is verry convenient. The room has all you need and is verry clean.
