The cleanliness was amazing and the bed was excellent. The hotel reception staff was so helpful, especially Miss Seray, the duty manager was exceptionally helpful and hospitable. Overall great experience, and I would definitely book again.

This is a delightful resort situated deep in Wadi Al Arbeieen. It's a delightful spot to relax, to take walks, go swimming, ride a bike, and other simple entertainments. It's hard to beat just relaxing under the magnificent sidr tree which is a special feature of the terrace area of this resort. The food is simple but tasty and plentiful. The rooms (16 of them in total) are quite small, but very comfortable and adequate with all the most important provisions. The manager, Shihad, runs an excellent business and is sensitive to the issues that are involved in running a hotel close to a small local village and in an environment of outstanding beauty - but this is his home so he is very caring. I strongly recommend a night here and in the cooler months you could also spend a couple of days here if you just wanted to "chill".

Everything was wonderful, from arrival to departure. The room was super comfortable and spacious with everything you need. The lounge happy hour had delicious food and a stunning view. All the staff who work there give their best to make you feel at home. They even gave us a little gift as a farewell gift. Muscat, I'll carry you in my heart. I'll be back.

It was worth going to if you want to visit the Grand Mosque.Didnt stay longer as that was my main attraction.Double double check the prices of taxis as prices changed from getting there to getting back.Easy to get around as taxis always around

Having visited Oman & Muscat before, on this occasion we were disappointed with the hotel which was neither close to the beach nor the centre and is a long way from the old town. Without a car it is quite expensive to move around by taxi and car hire is reasonable and driving easy.

After experiencing the chaos and poorly maintained paths of much of Cairo for nearly two weeks Muscat was a wonderful gift. So clean - beautiful coloured flowers and manicured shrubs along the roads - traffic flowing freely on excellent roads - buildings modern (Egyptian style) and well maintained. That said we appreciated the experience of Cairo and the excursions we did.

I was there only for a day and a half.

I was there only for a day and a half. So I didn't have much time to explore. The Mutrah corniche is really good for a late afternoon/evening stroll. Riyam Park is beautiful and relaxing. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is magnificent. November to February is a good time to visit as the weather is really pleasant.

Muscat is quite different from the other hugely developed...

Muscat is quite different from the other hugely developed Gulf states. Buildings are low, Muscat is a long city flanking the coast. The corniche, souk and old city are interesting. It is easy to get around by taxi - we used Otaxi which worked fine and well priced. Hiring a taxi directly could be expensive. We were surprised by the number of the tourists and tourist spots were busy. We went to the old capital Nizwa which was great and went to the Daymaniyat islands to swim with turtles, another popular but excellent excursion. We also enjoyed eating at Al Mouj, an upmarket area with a nice Marina and excellent restaurants. We found food varied from basic and cheap to quite expensive but very good. Lots of meat, more limited for vegetarians or special diets. Oman is quite expensive with a very strong currency - day excursions could cost £100+ per person. It all felt very safe.

The only strange thing about Muscat is that is is combined...

The only strange thing about Muscat is that is is combined from several places and thus does not leave the impression of continuous city with any kind of general planning. It's only navigable by car (no infrastructure for pedestrians/cyclists), which feels rather annoying for a European but probably totally fine for an American. Sticking to traditional architectural style is nice, though - most houses are new and well designed, even though they don't form any kind of remarkable skyline. In my opinion, best district for the hotel is Ruwi, best districts to hang out are Qurum and Seeb, and the sightseeing is scattered all over the place. For a wholesome view of the country I'd recommend to plan a proper round trip with sleepovers in other cities/villages instead of using Muscat as a base for day trips. I drove ca 1700 km in 11 days and it was exhausting, even though I did plan some sort of a round trip.

Our stay at the hotel in Oman was absolutely great! The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. But the best part of the whole experience was the staff – they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Amazing service that truly made an impression! Would recommend this place to everyone travelling to Muscat in Oman. Special thanks to Sui, she was truly kind and amazing. She helped us navigate around and came up with suggestions of activities we could do in town. She really made our experience in the hotel fantastic and unforgettable.

A big hotell that is close to the Grand Mosque and Mall of Oman. I would say its right in between the airport and the old city. I had a big room and the breakfast was delicious. The pool area is really nice and relaxing. They have two bars at the hotell, one of them outside were people watched fotball on the big screen and smoked sisha. Its also close to local commercial area so easy acces to restaurants, atm, shops etc. Check out the juice shop from this place along the parking lot behind the hotel. Delicious

The hotel has a prime location, the view is fantastic, and the private beach is lovely. Otherwise, it offers what chain hotels typically offer: a very extensive and good breakfast, very expensive but good hotel restaurants, beautiful grounds, and very friendly staff. The hotel's own shuttle service to the souk, the mosque, and the mall of Oman is very convenient.

This place was a good find. Amazing level of comfort, furnishing was amazing. Bed was great. Staff was very friendly. I think given the price, it was the best place to be in oman. Infact, if you are not fussed about the luxury which 5 star hotel offer, this is 5 star without the amenities. Must stay. Whenever I go to muscat, i will stay here.
