It's historical interests are well documented with educational signage, making the city very walkable. Krakow is a lovely city, with a multitude of vibes from old/classic, tehno, chill, d'n'b. Lovely cocktail bars, terraces, rooftop bars and great places to eat. From our experience we recommend 10/10 the following places: Mercy Brown and William Rabbit cocktail bars, Eszeweria pub and terrace, SIX Rooftop and the Wisla river cruises. Kraków is geared to tourists with plenty to see, and very good restaurants to enjoy. We stayed for three nights. We arrived at 2pm on the first day and took a golf buggy tour. We are in our mid-70s and both have a dodgy knee, so that was a great way to see a lot of the city that we could not have done by walking. On the second and third days we made day trips to Auschwitz and Wieliczka Salt Mine. Both were well worth while, but there is a lot of walking and we had reached our limit by the end. On the final day we travelled to Katowice to visit friends and to fly home from there in the evening. There were no evening flights home to our local airport from Krakow. We saw almost all we wanted to see, the main exception being Wawel Castle. We probably needed one extra day, but I am not sure we would have still had enough energy.Guest review byIanT50United Kingdom - 10.0

BEAUTIFUL CITY FILLED WITH LOTS OF HISTORY. LOVELY PEOPLE AND FRIENDLY. WOULD DIFINITELY RECCOMMEND TO VISIT. WE WENT IN JUNE WHICH WAS NOT TO HOT OR COLD GREAT TIME TO VISIT. NOT TO OVERCROWDED WITH VISITORS. MAKE SURE YOU BOOK PLACES OF INTEREST TWO WEEKS YOU TRAVEL; IT CAN GET FULL QUICKLY. TAKE RAINCOAT FOR THOSE UNEXPECTED SHOWERS THAT DONT LAST LONG. Plenty to see and do in Krakow.
Plenty to see and do in Krakow. We had a private walking tour in English by www.privatetourskrakow.com and it was great! The guide Ms Anna was very good and had just a little accent so we could understand her very well. She was able to connect the dots quickly through her narration. Our group of 13 family members went to most of the key attractions recommended online but did not really buy tickets for the museums and exhibitions. However, the Rynek underground museum was a surprised find and it wrap up our trip very well, especially the short films at the end.Guest review byAmySingapore
