I especially want to note the restaurant “Corczma u Chochola”. Very authentic and with wonderful, tasty and large dishes.

The Manufaktura centre is a vibrant shopping, eating area with something for everyone.
Lodz has endured so much through history, it’s wonderful to see it celebrate its growth and become such a worthwhile place to visit

The restaurant did not work.
The restaurant did not work. I arrived in the evening, was tired and did not want to go somewhere for the dinner. So I got no dinner even if they declarate the wonderfull restaurant. The owner has to inform customers in advance that restoran works in summer or on holidays only.

Łódź is for some reason the worst rated city in Poland.
Łódź is for some reason the worst rated city in Poland. Since I arrived though I did not stop wondering for one moment why this is the case. It is a lovely city, calm, with many transportation options, cheaper than others while being just 1.5 hours away from the capital, with lush greenery and a lively city center. People are welcoming and polite, food is as good as anywhere in Poland and events are in abundance. In general we went to Łódź with low expectations and we ended up wanting to stay longer.

It is a modern yet beautiful city.
It is a modern yet beautiful city. Surprisingly wide roads and an extremely dense tram network. I really liked the long pedestrian street, it was full of life! Manufaktura was also fantastic with its red-brick buildings. The parks are very beautiful as well. It was great to walk around here. Overall, the city is much nicer than I expected! I highly recommend visiting it!

Łódź is full of interesting historical sites, great museums, beautiful architecture, extensive shopping (modern and traditional), excellent food, lovely churches, historical cemeteries, and many large parks. Piotrkowska Street, Manufactura, Rose Passage, Orientarium Zoo, Łagiewniki Forest with St. Anthony Chapel (built 17th century), and more. We have loved it here.

M place is an outstanding value for money. It is located on the outskirts of town. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. The hotel has a spa (two saunas, jacuzzi and a swimming pool), and an 8-ball table, both of which you can use free of charge. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I recommend staying in the superior room, since the difference in price in neglectable.

Great spa area , sauna, steam room, ice room, jacuzzi, ice bucket shower, multi function relaxation shower huge pool was never that busy which was good . Rooms big and comfortable, breakfast lots to choose from including English and polish , the hotel is huge also has a bowling alley
