it’s amazingly well thought of, very clean, neighbors are sweet and friendly! they had the AC on waiting for our arrival and that was nice, the jacuzzi was preheated and didn’t smell bad or of chlorine which was nice. very comfortable beds and pillows.

There isn’t much to do in Ponce. The beach was disappointing, and the town center is quite small with only a limited number of restaurants and coffee shops. Overall, it felt underwhelming as a destination.

the only disappointment was that because we were there...

the only disappointment was that because we were there monday and tuesday, most of the museums and haciendas don't open up until wednesday or thursday. nontheless, we enjoyed our stay very much. the breakfast was very good. the room was nice and big with a good size balcony. bed was comfortable.

Ponce is the largest city in the south of the island...

Ponce is the largest city in the south of the island proximity to the ocean. However, the city doesnt has any public beaches for the enjoyment of the ocean. The only two public beaches in the area are locate in el Baneario del Tuque, and the other one en el Sector La Guancha. The beach at the Guancha the beach is too shallow, and dangerous to the many rocks. The beach area is ok, unfortunately is not well develop.

Ponce is delightful! Great people, great food.

Ponce is delightful! Great people, great food. Is a city enriched by many cultural elements, and by the time I visited, there was live music at the Plaza Las Delicias. Don't miss to go and buy your " helado de los chinos" or eat a " Pincho" at the Plaza. Ponce is Ponce, and everything else is_________________... ; )

Two days in Ponce is enough. Best dining is Mesa Cocina. Period. Vistas is delightful for cocktails and light accompanying fare.Excellent drinks too. The Serralles family mansion (Don Q) is well worth a visit. The Ponce Art Museum is reopened on a limited basis. Check before going. The building itself is worth seeing. Having stayed at several properties, I prefer the Boutique Hotel Belgica, charmingly renovated to retain its history. Opposite the Hotel is a food truck there daily, until well into the evening. Legendary.

In past visits we did a great deal of sightseeing, but much less on this trip. We mainly walked around Ponce, enjoying the various types of architecture, visited local parks, especially the Parque de Bombas, the Art Museum, much of which was closed for renovation following hurricane. Sites we recommend for others include the Museum of Musical Instruments, the Art Museum, which will probably be fully open within the year. Other places we have enjoyed on past trips were a coffee plantation, the Castillo Serralles, the Tibes indigenous ceremonial site, and La Cruz del Vigia, which provides a grand view of the southern part of the island and the Caribbean. Another place we have visited in the past was El Jonque, the national park and tropical rain forest, which lies on the road between the airport in San Juan and Ponce. We will undoubtedly visit Ponce again, since it is less busy than San Juan.

Everything that Hotel Belgica offers is accurate to their listing and description (I got a king room w/ balcony and it was a wonderful spot to bring a coffee from the cafe downstairs and spend the morning watching Ponceños go about their day-to-day lives). The "bonus" was a truly warm and caring team of staff that made me feel comfortable and welcomed, from restaurant recommendations to friendly chats about travelling and language. I'd recommend staying here anytime!

My stay at the Hilton Ponce hotel was a very good experience. We truly loved the facilities, which were clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. The location was excellent, giving us easy access to everything we needed while also offering beautiful surroundings. The food was also a highlight, with delicious options that made every meal enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

Loudest hotel ever. Noise level is absurd, up to 90-105 dBs (measured by phone app) up until midnight. Hotel has a club in the lobby and the music just pierces every wall of the room. Moreover, place is extremely dirty. First room they gave us was so dirty they had to change us to a new room. Everything smells moldy, staff was unpleasant, and it is impossible to sleep with the loud music on.

The hotel has a deterioration in all the facilities, When we arrived in all the facilities there were street dogs, excrement in the facilities. The facilities do not live up to the booking photos. There was no hot water, and the maintenance of the room is terrible. For the amount paid per night, it is not a hotel that even reaches 2 stars
