Stunning building, refurbished to a very high standard

The place was very clean and had some good facilities. Nice sit out areas across the property. The property is very close to the beach. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast presentation was outstanding. The staff even packed us a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early for the airport.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in so far. Excepcional service from check in to bar, spa and restaurant. Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful gardens and spa ! Could not have been any better. We were so sorry to stay only one night.

I loved my stay at Artcore Hotel. It's very new and the facilities are fantastic — the rooms are very big, they have balconies, and I love how they're decorated with artistic and creative flair. I noticed that the bedding and the slippers were made in Portugal which was great. The spa facilities were also nice. I was a fan of the breakfast service, where they deliver breakfast to your door if you request it with a sign on your handle. The breakfast selection was vast and the acai bowl was a favorite. I also ordered dry cleaning for my pants and it arrived back to me, clean and dried, within hours!

Amazing property with lovely views. There is a spa (we had fantastic massages and used the water treatment area). The staff is incredible and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Breakfast was lovely.

Room was beautiful! Owners were the best! Great breakfast and everything we needed was quickly and happily handled by the owners.

we were looking for a place in nature away from the hustle and tourist filled areas and when we arrived felt like we have hit the jackpot. La quinta de Mocamedes is beautiful and our apartment had an amazing view of the mountains. Every sunset was magical, the pool is beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. We loved that some of the fresh fruits, eggs, and mermeladas were from la Quinta. We highly recommend it and plan to return.

It is located in the very heart of old town and is very quiet at the same time. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Coffee with pastries is available throughout the day.

We loved the location of the hotel... the rooms were spacious and the bed super comfortable. Loved having a coffee machine in the room... bathroom like a spa!

Great place with swimming pool outside, inside spa area. Our kid of 10 years old loved it too. Quiet and easy to access. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The restaurants are of great quality. We’d like to highlight the gastronomic restaurant, a must do - every dish is a delicious surprise, it’s all local and service is top! Congrats to the Chef!

The hotel is lovely and modern and has a great, relaxed feel to it. The best thing is the location: restaurants right outside the door, the shops just around the corner and the beach about 10 minutes away! It was so handy having everything so close. The staff were great with recommendations; we especially loved Ciuccio, Pomò and Casa do Prego. Even better, Padaria Central bakery is 30 seconds away. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and would stay there again. We parked in the public parking just 5 minutes from the hotel and it was free which was a bonus. Really recommend Praia de Dona Ana, you can walk there (about 20 minutes) and the boardwalks to the beach are great. We also went to see dolphins which was fantastic. What a great stay we’ve had!
