Just 328 feet from Alvor’s beach, Wyndham Residences Alvor Beach offers air-conditioned rooms and studios with a kitchenette all with a furnished balcony. It features an outdoor pool with a terrace.

The location was excellent. We had a beautiful sea view from our room, the boardwalk was seconds from the hotel and a 5 minute walk to the old town. Our room was spacious and was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous and all the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Set in the picturesque village of Alvor, Longevity Health & Wellness Hotel - Adults Only is built upon a secluded hillside with panoramic views over the Alvor bay and the countryside.

Whole place from room to pool feels like a high end spa. It’s clean, modern, beautifully designed. The spa itself is extremely good. Bed are comfy, food is healthy and varied, the whole place is quiet and there aren’t any screaming kids. The staff are friendly and attentive. The location is 5 mins drive from multiple beaches. This place is just an oasis. So good we extended our stay.

Boasting panoramic views of Três Irmãos Beach, this hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Alvor's village center. It has three large outdoor saltwater pool and offers air-conditioned guestrooms.

On the first day of arrival, the hotel was under construction around the pool, and the food was in very low option. But the second day, it became suddenly a really 5 star all-inclusive hotel. They burned one of our 2 days, but on the second day, we meet our expectations

Amazingly small hotel that has a property larger than life right in the water. Great restaurant on premises for dining by the water. Staff was amazingly friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer.

    If you want a vibrant night life holiday then Alvor is not...

    If you want a vibrant night life holiday then Alvor is not for you. Book Albufeira. Alvor is a fishing village as much as it is a tourist spot. It has dozens of vibrant bars and the restaurants are a very high standard but really well priced. There is a range of traditional Portuguese, italian, fish, indian, Chinese, Japanese and at least 4 really good steak houses. The bars are busy and some have live music and DJs but not really a nightclub type of place. The beach has a really long and beautiful walk with lots of small beach hut style bars. every 100m or so. The sea is nice for a swim in the summer months but can be a bit choppy during colder months. There are loads of options for boat trips from nearby Portimao. There is a also skydiving and a kitesurfing school. It has a small airport with daily flights to Porto and Lisbon so if are staying for a long time you could base in Alvor do a few days city break. Uber is very popular but there is also a normal taxi rank and bus stops that can take you to other parts of the Algarve. I would recommend day boat trip to Bengali caves. They have bit boats options with bars or if you are feeling brave then try the skydiving. The end of the beach as the famous "3 brothers beach" which is one of the windows default screens. Also water parks nearby and also Zoomarine if you have younger kids.

    Alvor is a stunning, traditional town on the Algarve, and still feels slightly less touristy than some of the larger towns such as Albufeira. We have visited 4 times now, and still find new places to eat and visit, but also love that many of the restaurants have stayed the same and still serve excellent fresh fish, meat etc at the same quality and all very reasonably priced. The local supermarket in Alvor is not overpriced either, and there is also a Lidl and and Aldi now within 10 mins drive. The beaches, caves, and cliffs around Alvor and particularly at the Prainha Clube resort are stunning and you can walk for miles along the boardwalk. We highly recommend the Casa da Mare and the Mediterraneamente restaurants as 2 favourites, but there are so many others to choose from! As a family of 3 who enjoy eating out, good beaches, beautiful ocean views and walking/spending time playing cards together, Alvor is the perfect choice!

    The setting by the Sea,the fabulous board walk,great restaurants,Touro de Alvor,Alvor Wine, Villa Velha. Wilds for sandwiches,O'Gradys Yard,The Tap room bar. Sunset cruise with Captain Pedro. Portuguese people. Public litter is a drawback, narrow and uneven footpaths also.

    Great Fishing town, lots of fantastic places to eat, especially fish. Great Nature reserve and extended walks, plus walking along a very long shoreline. Buses to other local towns were fine for day visits. The local bus app is good. No where is far from anywhere. Loads of bars if that is your thing. Lifeguard manned beach. To note, some places shut over the winter season. Alvor Wine is a great restaurant, booking required. Lusitania for good veggie and organic fusion, plus meat and fish Casa del mare good fish.

    Alvor is a beautiful spot. It’s quiet and more geared for families and couples. No real nightlife for young adults. Beautiful restaurants. Beautiful beach. If you’re looking for value for money the restaurants are nearly the same price as home.

    Breakfast and the staff was the only good part about the holiday. Beds uncomfortable No hotfood at lunch and dinner Poor drinks service had to que and the sizes where to small, cocktails they used house spirits, u might aswell use white spirit. Overall we won't be coming back

    The apartment was amazing! The photos do not do it justice! It’s so clean and has all the facilities you need! As well as a swimming pool. We really enjoyed our stay, the location to alvor is about a 15 minute walk but every hotel and apartment is. You can also get a Uber for around 2-4 euros which takes about 5 minutes which was useful! If you want to stay in a quiet peaceful please we highly recommend staying here! Alvor and the beach’s are beautiful! All take about a 15 minute walk.

    Just back from a long weekend stay in Alvor. Hotel and bedroom was very clean, modern and comfortable. The most comfortable pull out bed I have ever slept in. Excellent shower. Close to centre, restaurants, bars etc. Ideal for a shorter winter/spring break. Very helpful staff. Room cleaned every day except Sundays.

    The location of thos hotel is great. It is a 5 minute walk from the beachfront and about 15 minute walk to Alvor town. The hotel is spotless clean, great pool, very nice lobby and outdoor area. All the staff were very friendly and looked after us well. The rooms are modern and a comfortable bed.
