The room was quite pleasant and the the staff provided a nice crib for a 2 year old. The location of the hotel is good if you want to stay close to Aveiro, but at a cheaper price.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff is so nice, helpful, and very respectful. The location is perfect - walking distance to the boat tours, restaurants, and shopping. Breakfast is good - you can order eggs from the menu. I also was able to get a really good massage at the spa! We enjoyed our weekend at this hotel. I highly recommend it.

Aveiro is quite small, so we found a one night stay adequate. We took a moleceiro boat ride and walked around all the main sites of interest. We also took a taxi tour to see the Praia de Barra lighthouse and the quaint houses of Costa Novo, well worth the extra expense. We even got a free Ovos Moles, the local delicacy. All in all a great 24 hours in Aveiro.

The historic area of town is quite small but very appealing.
The historic area of town is quite small but very appealing. There are some high end shops that we wouldn't have expected and whole town is clean and well looked after. The surrounding environment is a real plus point for us with the ease of access to the lagoon, the nature reserves and the bird walks. Buses and trains were easily accessible

Very walkable city.
Very walkable city. Friendly people, nice food, great amenities, and quite calm. Just what we needed after having been in very busy cities of Lisbon and Porto. We spent 3 days and enjoyed every minute to the last.

Very disappointed in Aveiro.
Very disappointed in Aveiro. The picture of the Gondolas is all it has to offer. It is not a place for exploring. It has two shopping centres one of which is typical of most towns in Portugal and the other is run down and dingy

Love city, lovely people.
Love city, lovely people. If I had a choice to live wherever I wanted, it would be in Aveiro.
Very easy to navigate through the city.
If you can, go watch Beira-Mar (football).
They have some good museums, a big Church and you can find almost everything in Glicínias Plaza.
Unfortunately it was raining a lot when I had the time to go by boat, so I must come again for another time.
They have nice and diverse restaurants, and some specific small shops, for example, a shop about Pokémon and everything Pokémon. I cannot even find it in Lisbon!
Forum Aveiro is nice, an open space shopping mall near the river.
You should atleast try "Tripas" and "Ovos Moles".

Clean kitchen with enough equipment provided and tea making facilities and fridges. Very central location as well, right within the city centre, and with most major attractions within 10 min walking distance and shopping mall is across the road. There are no reception service but you can leave your bag early at a Hotel 10 mins walk from Aveiro station and the hostel is another 10 mins walk from that.
I arrived late after the check-in time and the staff sent me a message explaining how to enter in the hotel and in my room.
The room has a good space for two and was super clean.
The location is in the center so you can walk around to know the city.
The location is perfect, right in the city center of Aveiro. The room was very spacious, The kitchen had some appliances and a table with chairs. There is a balcony with some chairs where you can dry clothes (on a wall).
