The Pestana Cascais was an ideal location for us to explore this corner of Portugal. The hotel is on a quiet street, the breakfest buffet offered an expansive selection, the room was always clean and tidy and (most important) the staff (from the front desk, to the restaurant to the cleaning staff) were exceptionally polite and helpful. Bravo to the entire hotel team.

The receptionists, Margarida and Gonçalo, were exceptional. So was the breakfast and cleaning staff. I loved their way of making me feel home. Regina, Luciana and Marta are amazing souls. Professional, gentle and available at all times. The breakfast was good, and the room comfortable. Also the position super central. I loved it! 🌟

I really liked it! Despite the relatively low rating, the hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. And most importantly, the stunning beach is visible from the window. It's a very quiet, relaxing place. There's free parking next to the hotel, which takes you directly to the beach. The hotel isn't new, but it's in good condition, even a bit stylish. 24/7 reception. There's an elevator to the second floor. Breakfast. Not fancy, but quite good (standard - coffee, juice, bacon, scrambled eggs, cheeses, cold meats, yogurts, etc.). The room is small, but perfectly adequate for two people. Some rooms have a balcony. There's no kettle or refrigerator in the room. Overall, it's very good for an oceanfront hotel. I recommend it!

Really clean and great location. I travelled for Ironman Cascais so the location was ideal. Really close to the start line. Really quiet. The staff were fabulous, so friendly and helpful!

Staff, room, hotel and breakfast. First class

In all honesty, the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. From the warm welcome, beautiful room, amazing staff, fabulous breakfast and the breakfast boxes they gave us when leaving (for an early flight) as well as the great location (a 10 minute walk from the centre of Cascais) it surpassed all expectations. We will definitely return, sooner rather than later!

The location is perfect, oceanfront! You can walk to local restaurants, shops and the marina. The train station is a few meters away. The hotel staff are wonderful and happy to ensure you have an amazing experience. The room is a nice size and very comfortable with all the necessities. I could near the ocean waves from my terrace. The breakfast service is overlooking the ocean and beach and there is a good selection to choose from.

Great location - facilities and staff

This hotel was a gem ! We had a room in the back with a balcony - away from the street noise. Best of all was the hospitality of the staff. They were informative and welcoming to us - two seniors from Canada at the end of a winter vacation in Spain and Portugal. The young manager with the artistic mustache chatted with us - sharing a bottle of delicious Kavia wine - wish we could get it in Canada. The young female receptionists were friendly and got sua taxi to the airport. Hope to return one day .

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with information of what going on in Cascais. The food was excellent and the ambience is great so is the location.

Farol is a great place to spend time to reconnect with nature and yourself: it has a unique location right at the ocean cliffs, so you can see and hear the waves, to watch the horizon with no distractions. I loved the style and aesthetics of this hotel, its design and comfort level are just perfect!

Simply everything! Since the arrival we were surprised the quality of the hotel and the amazing staff. The hotel is amazing! The kids club offers amazing activities for the children. The spa is something amazing too. We will definitely go back!
