The appartment is spacious, clean and comfortable with modern furniture and very well equipped kitchen in the northern part of the island Flores. The air-con heating is great, powerful to heat up the entire flat, we appreciated it in December. Parking fine in front of the house.

Secluded location overlooking a great green hill and part of the ocean, which you can see from the terrace. We liked wooden doors, furniture and other decorations, which created nice and cozy country atmosphere. Loved the full size transparrent doors leading to the terrace and letting in a lot of natural light into the room. There are several houses on the property, we stayed in one of the smaller apartments in the farest house. Overall the apartment was compact and well organized. The dining table was not big, but enough for two. There was a cooking table with an induction hob, microwave and a small kettle. We have stayed in several places on the island, and this property is distinguished by overall high quality of the furniture and finish, which was modern and well maintained. A bottle of local wine and a cheese plate as a welcome gift was a nice touch. Due to a windy weather, having heating from aircon was a life saver. Excellent communication and care from the host, really appreciated that.

The kitchen was well equipped. Location was fantastic- close to shop, close to natural pools. The staff, was very friendly- cheers to Samuel! We loved the bathroom- a bit Dynastia style, very photogenic, amazing light. You might think this is an overkill, but listen to this… rainy, windy day, unpleasant to hike: take a wine, put hot water into the tub, turn the massage on, look outside the window on the ocean. Dream!

First things first. It is close to the airport. 15-ish minutes on foot. There is also a convenient parking lot next to the police station nearby. It is an ideal spot when you have a car and are planning to make trekking trips around the island. The town is fairly small, so there is no problem in finding it. Owner also sent me the photo of the alley and how to get in so it was no problem at all. I´ve never met the owner but he was really respectful and straightforward in his online communication, which I appreciate. The apartment had all the appliances, washing machine, stove, microwave. Bathroom had a bidet. Although when washing clothes, you have to hang the laundry outside the old way. (good luck with the weather!) What came as a really nice surprise was a heated massage chair and a tv with good internet connection. There is also a small pier right next to the apartment so you can just go look at the night sea before sleep. It is very serene and quiet during off season. And it is all just behind the kitchen window!

Set in Corvo, Azores region, Joe & Vera's Vintage is located 1.2 km from Praia da Areia. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Close to the airport, port and centre. Very clean and good breakfast. Vera was very informative and let me in 2 hours before the check-in. (Neutral) Church is very close and you can hear the bell hourly, but it stops at 8PM. If I remember well, it starts at 9AM, so you have enough time to sleep.
