Location is just amazing right next to the Arch of Lisbon. Walking distance to many attractions. The room was new and great. The heating was excellent. Breakfast was provided at a nearby 5 start hotel of the same group and was really worth the 2 minute walk to get there. Probably was the best breakfast we had in Lisbon.

Beautiful city with stunning architecture.

Beautiful city with stunning architecture. So much to see and do. Transport system is excellent and very reasonably priced. Would recommend using public transport to get about and see the sights and don't bother with City Sightseeing Buses offering 1/2/3 day tickets, these are vastly overpriced!

Gorgeous city, with lots to do and visit.

Gorgeous city, with lots to do and visit. Taking the train to the beach is very cheap and well worth it. Comfy shoes are a must if you are thinking of exploring by foot as the streets are cobbled and lots of walking uphill. Taking the Uber/ Bolt seemed cheap to me though if you prefer this option. Some of the streets are very narrow though so some walking uphill will still be needed. If you are looking at exploring traditional food Tu&eu restaurant is a must. My daughter and I have thoroughly enjoyed Lisbon and would definitely go there again. It is a gorgeous city full of colour and culture.

Lisbon is one of my favourite cities, there is so much to do and every day brings new adventures. The people are amazing and friendly, every time I’ve gone there I’ve had a different experience. This time I visited Chapito a Mesa, which is an amazingly oldy-worldy building which hosts a great rooftop restaurant with amazing views, this is a must!

The passport control at airport is abysmal!

The passport control at airport is abysmal! Poor instructions on appropriate lines depending on passport. Upon arrival it took us 2 hours just to get through passport control. Upon departure it was even worse. Shortly after security (which is very efficient, they even pride themselves with screens that state the estimated time it will take to get through) you walk through extensive duty free section and very quickly there is this huge line in the middle of the concourse for unknown reasons. After asking others in line they say it is for passport control. Having been through this similar situation on arrival, I walked on ahead passing literally hundreds of passengers who were nowhere near the start of the horrendous Lines at the start of passport control. I found an entrance for “All Passports” that gave a little hope of maybe making our flight. I went back and got my wife who was holding place in the crazy concourse line. We cued into the normal passport control line with everyone asking attendants if they were in the correct line. Total confusion and fear of missing flights. After nearly an hour of creeping along in the line an attendant saw that we were using canes and said we should have been in the priority line and switched us to another line that was fairly short in comparison to the other. There were fancy new electronic machines that were lit up but apparently not operable and were roped off. Huge mess. If you are going to the Azores Islands… fly direct!

The breakfast was excellent! A la carte also with a buffet selection. First class breakfast. The hotel is an the best location for exploring the centre of Lisbon. Close to the main square by the sea and also in good proximity to Barrio Alto which is a lively nightlife district. Very good for access to transport to all sides of the city. This little boutique hotel is more than perfect. It is in a fabulous spot, easy to get everywhere, but remember Lisbon is hilly. The room size would have to be the best in Europe, with reminders everywhere that I am in a building that is centuries old.
