It's a very small seaport and ocean front village...there are some local restaurants and bakery, bank and small grocery stores within a short distance. Ensure you take euros because your credit card may not work. The scenery is the most beautiful from rugged mountain terrain to volcanic ocean pools and gorgeous sunsets it's absolutely perfect. You will need a car to get around and the terrain is up and down hills and winding roads. The locals are very accomodating and helpful. A charming town in a beautiful location between the ocean...
A charming town in a beautiful location between the ocean and the steep mountains. On the western end of the island, it often has superlative sunsets. The town itself is small but has a welcoming central plaza, with several good restaurants nearby. The main beach is very accessible and very attractive.
