Very good balance price : quality!
Very good balance price : quality! Excellent place for relaxation in natural paradise, promenade nearby the ocean. Beautiful church with famous Portugal majolica. Nice views to mountains and surrounding villages. Good infrastructure: supermarket, Pharmacia, shop for baying small stuff (e.g. umbrellas, small electro devises, all for housekeeping etc.). You could reach walking the neighboring village, Sao Vicente, with a nice church, volcanology center, tremendous supermarket, some interesting buildings (e.g. School of agriculture). Good for family holidays. Busses are comfortable and cheep, but rear in Christmas period. You better rent a car. Inhabitants of Ponta Delgada are friendly and helpful. Many, especially young people, speak good English.

Ponta Delgada is a quiet and beautiful place.
Ponta Delgada is a quiet and beautiful place. From here you can easily travel in all directions of this beautifull island by car. Access to the Atlantic Ocean is rare. If there is an access, it is almost always rocky - you should be sure-footed here. There are hardly any sandy beaches, we didn't find any. During the season there is a small public swimming pool in Ponta Delgada.

Lovely little apartment near the centre of Ponta Delgada. Super clean, comfortable, and modern! Excellent welcome instructions from the host that made our arrival easy (especially as we were two hours delayed). The balcony was great for evening drinks and snacks. The back garden is indeed shared, but we saw no one during our staff and it was a lovely spot for breakfast. Also loved the Nespresso machine for coffee! Nice touch.
Laundry facilities were very welcome!
Parking was super easy and on the flat (which is rare on Madeira!).

The apartments is roomy, with two comfortable bedrooms and two living rooms, separated from a well equipped kitchen. The view is spectacular from both floors. I particularly appreciated also the private entrance and the space for the car. It is close to the village of Ponta Delgada but located in a quiet place. The price is correct for the services offered. The owner was available in every moment. Perfect for a stay in group or family!

I did not like anything, maybe only the location and the views. Service was nice! Nice man in the reception.
food is bad, very poor selection, hotel was 4 star 30 years ago!! Beds ar old and uncomfortable, had a bad sleep, pillows ar disaster, whole hotel smells bad and mold is everywhere. Very very old hotel!!
For that money that we payed it doesn’t worth it!! Band experience! Dont waste money!!

We came for a one week active holiday. The owner was super helpful and friendly - there was no problem with gluten free or lacto free options for breakfast as well as with preparing food boxes in situations, where we had to leave early. Free parking on the street was no problem for us. Location of hotel is great if you want to explore whole island.
