We had a pleasant stay from the very beginning. We would especially like to thank Pedro Rodrigues, who welcomed us with a warm smile at check-in and patiently answered all our questions with genuine kindness. His hospitality truly made our stay more enjoyable. The staff, in general, were attentive and helpful. The service quality was satisfying. Our room was clean and well-kept, and it offered a good level of comfort. The price/performance ratio was quite reasonable. The location of the hotel was convenient for accessing key attractions in the city. The size of our room also met our expectations. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel — especially thanks again to Pedro for his exceptional support!

The hotel itself is very modern and unique. The location is a 2 min walk from Trindade and a 20 min walk to the river (enjoyable route). Book here if you are visiting for Sao Jose - the view of the fireworks was incredible. We stayed in room 607.

    Lovely city, lots of great places to eat & drink out.

    Lovely city, lots of great places to eat & drink out. Don’t ignore the self service style cafe places, they wee okay with table service & helped with lots of unfamiliar pastries etc. Enjoyed the monastery tour with fado music-info from the many tourist offices, but need to walk up during the day & book in person to avoid disappointment as restricted places. River tour worth an hour. We went as a group of friends but 2 of us intend to return with our wives.

    Porto is a beautiful, cultured, vibrant city with the bonus of a gorgeous coastline dotted with beaches. I can’t think of any downsides to Porto. The people are welcoming and interesting, and there are so many things to see and experience. Museums, art galleries, parks, bridges, river tours, beaches…ice creams and trams! I’ve been twice and I will definitely go back to see more.

    Charming city with a lot of things to do. Great cathedral. Enjoyed the ocean and great seafood. Historic city by the river had a lot of entertainment and great views, especially from the bridge. Lot of uphill walking.

    Plenty to do and see over our four day stay.

    Plenty to do and see over our four day stay. We did a walking tour which was very informative and gave us our bearings. Loved walks along both sides of the river. We took the bus out to the beach and had the best meal of our tour there. Would go back as there is still more to see.

    Nothing there - did a boat trip to look at bridges which was lame. People gathered for like an hour and paid 10 euro to see a book shop that inspired JR Rowling in the harry potter fame - seriously!!! Port tasting which you could do anywhere . Pretty city from the water but really no major drawcard .

    I had visited this city 10 years ago and thought the same thing - there is never enough time to enjoy this city the way it should be. I really don't think this is a city where you should schedule yourself back-to-back with tours and museums and reservations. This is a city that you need to relax in, walk around and get lost. Stumbling into a square with a church and then walking into the quiet spaces is magical. Trying every nata you come across until you feel like you are going to throw up walking up another hill. Getting friendly with the local grocer as you stumble with your translation app trying to find just one more ingredient for dinner. I highly recommend you don't approach this city as you would others - don't try to schedule things - maybe one thing a day. Take the time to just soak it in and let Porto come to you.

    Everything about our stay was absolutely excellent. The staff went above and beyond, the breakfast was amazing, and the room and hotel is stunning. The location is perfect to access the main attractions in Porto. Our stay here was not only the best out of all the places we stayed during our visit to Portugal, but also is in one of the top 5 hotels we have ever stayed at, period. I cannot recommend this place enough.

    Antonio is the best ambassador of Portugal. The Booking was created for such persons and approaches to the guest. You do not need five stars boring hotel experiences. You deserve real people of the country you are traveling to. And that is Antonio and his approach to the guests.     A huge thanks for Bruno who wait for us in the evening after our flight was delayed. The hotel is one of the best we stayed in Portugal, great staff, excellent location (my kids were so excited with the park near the hotel - roosters, ducks etc. perfect views and beautiful flowers), very good breakfast, hotel is extra clean. Our stay here was perfect!
