Great hotel on a little side street. Very clean and well kept with a wonderful little breakfast. The location couldn't be better, walked to so many restaurants, markets, ferries, and the waterfront. If you're up to it, the beaches are walk able and there were so many interesting things to see on the way.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. One of the biggest plus points was the location — there was a supermarket just a 2-minute walk away, which was very convenient. Although breakfast was not included, the hotel offered 24-hour tea and coffee facilities free of charge, with good-quality coffee available throughout the day. This was a really nice extra and definitely a plus point for us. Overall, we loved our stay and had nothing negative to say. Everything was clean, convenient, and comfortable, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Oh. Lots more to do. I can bring a bike in my car. The Arrábida area I wish to explore. Fancy a day out in Tróia with bike to visit roman ruins and of course the beautiful beach....The Castle. I had enough time to thoroughly explore the city and some super restaurants. Like the Korean BBQ place which was very special and a lot of fun.

Setubal is an upcoming town.

Setubal is an upcoming town. It's very trendy at the moment, lots of caffés , bars and restaurants are a must to visit. The long promenade and the park under the trees is so beautiful. Setubal is charming. A very picturesque town. Definitely a place to relax.

Setubal is a great place for holidays.

Setubal is a great place for holidays. There a lot to see, from Mosteiro de Jesus, Forte de S.Filipe, Mercado do Livramento not only with fresh vegetables and fruits but also with fresh fish as you never seen and of course the portuguese tiles in the wall. But there's the river Sado, and Atlantic ocean, the beaches Albarquel, Figueirinha, Galapos, Arrabida and yes a great hike to Arrabida mountain (500m). There's the food,... fish, seafood, squid and octopus, the wine, the red, the white, moscatel, the sweets. Well you can go to Palmela or cross the river and go to Troia.

An authentic, interesting and proud city.

An authentic, interesting and proud city. If you want to see and enjoy life in an environment which hasn't changed much in hundreds of years then this place to visit. The Algarve it is not! Would really recommend.

The hiking and biking were excellent.

The hiking and biking were excellent. You can walk the old roman road and hike to the top of Mt. Arriba. Also great restaurants with excellent seafood. The beaches are pleasant but chill in February. Have pistachio coffee at Rockalot by the beach.

Casa Pátio Boa Vista 4 is a practical little jewel in Setúbal, I warmly recommend it to everyone. The apartment is located near the city center, in a quiet and cozy street, easy to find, but when leaving, it is difficult to leave it due to the positive impressions gained during the stay. The apartment is well and practically equipped (huge and comfortable bed, wardrobe, extra pillows and blankets, separate bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, kitchen utensils, internal terrace, air conditioning). Excellent in every way, practical, clean and beautiful, equipped with all the necessary equipment. You enter and feel at home. Ricardo, the host, is very kind and helpful, you can count on his help at any time. There is a wide selection of shops and a market nearby (it is worth visiting, especially if you want fresh, farm-raised vegetables or freshly caught seafood I recommend the local restaurants, if you are in Setúbal, try Choco frito, it is very delicious. The Forte de São Filipe can be reached within about 30 minutes on foot from the accommodation, it offers a very nice view to visitors. There is a pleasant promenade under the castle, with restaurants and a sandy beach. The ferries to the Troia peninsula are also easily accessible, because of my work I can only travel here in January, but even then it is a great experience to walk on the ocean shore, pick up shells, breathe in the fresh air, recharge with experiences and regret every day that the return date is approaching. I traveled to Setúbal for the fourth time in 3 years (I am in love with the city), this apartment captivated me I've already booked my heart again for next January.

Friendliness of staff - very attentive Possibly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in Matched our expectations - needed somewhere to sleep, shower, and have breakfast that was safe, comfortable, and great value for money with delightful hosts.

Comfy beds, bedsheets smelled good, cleanliness in all the areas of the hotel. I enjoyed the fresh and rich breakfast, the flexibility of check-in and late check out time (usually 11, but here is at 12), the kind staff service and even the terrace on the 2nd floor, perfect to end your day looking at the stars of the beautiful sky of Setubal!

Great central location is Setubal. On street car parking adjacent the hotel. Super friendly and professional staff from reception to check out the team were exceptional. Room was good size, super clean and well decorated. Breakfast vouchers for cafe next door worked well - a good selection of items on the menu. Overall - excellent!

We only saw one staff member an older gentleman who was really friendly and showed us around, including the birds. The check-in and check out was really easy and everything explained. The location is quiet and 10 mins from the centre of Setúbal and 25 mins to the beaches so great location.
